You’ve probably seen the viral giant croissant all over social media by now. It’s a supersized version of France’s most iconic pastry that has made waves in Paris, London, and even Malaysia, that’s way, way bigger than your face.

If you didn’t already know, the XXXL Croissant is actually a thing in Singapore, and can be found at Alice Boulangerie in Tanjong Pagar.

This ginormous creation was first launched at the start of September 2023, and measures a jaw-dropping 50cm x 20cm x 11cm — that’s about the size of 20 regular-sized croissants. It’s also priced at S$80, and for good reason, given that each croissant is well-laminated and made over three days using only premium French AOP butter.

Although the XXXL croissant was certainly fun to eat (and look at), we did feel that it was a lot more doughy and slightly less fragrant as compared to the regular Classic Croissant (S$4). Still, it’ll make for a great gift or talking point at parties, so bookmark it for your most croissant-obsessed friend!

Unfortunately, it will only be available for a limited time only, while stocks last, so don’t wait too long before placing your pre-orders, which have to be made three days in advance.

Regardless of whether you go for the giant or regular croissant, you’re highly recommended to dip it in either a Cappuccino (S$6) or Hot Chocolate (S$6) — we definitely prefer the latter, which is rich, dark, and decadent. Otherwise, go for one of the cafe’s popular specialty drinks like the Black Sesame Latte (S$7.50) and Matcha Cream Latte (S$7.50) topped with silky chantilly cream.

Will you be taking on this massive pastry?
