As a teahouse inspired by traditional Chinese tea culture, Incloud serves tea sets from S$28. Expect beautifully brewed concoctions featuring ingredients like licorice root, poria, white peony root, and more.

For a comforting choice, check out the Roasted Milk Tea (S$28), served in a clay teapot to keep it nice and warm.

Or, go for the Trio Tea Set (S$68) with three drinks served in one set: one classic brew, one fruit-infused, and one lightly carbonated.

There’s no shortage of the franchise with the recent Pokemon Go City Safari in Singapore. Now, Lotte World in Korea just dropped what might be the cutest (and most photo-worthy) Pokemon event yet, and we are obsessed.

Until 25 May 2025, Pokemon fans (or anyone with a camera) need to add Pokemon World Adventure: Spring Camp to their Korea itinerary. 

Trust us: it’s not just a nostalgia trip (okay it is but there’s also more).

Cherry blossom season is still going strong in Korea. So, you’ll get to see sakura-filled skies and meet life-sized Pokemon characters scattered throughout Lotte World. 

Snap a picture with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, a giant Snorlax, and even a chonky Slowpoke chilling around the park like they own the place (as they should).

The iconic Lotte World balloon ride is now transformed into a Poke Ball hot air balloon that floats you into the skies on a themed adventure. As you soar, keep your eyes peeled for Gengar and Diglett peeking out along the route. Don’t miss the photo zone with Pikachu and Eevee while waiting.

One of my childhood dreams was to be a Pokemon Trainer and now, it can be a reality. Just pick up an Exploration Notebook at Lotty’s Emporium, complete missions around the park, and earn a limited-edition reward. 

You’re basically Ash Ketchum (minus the aging).

You can also spot the fan-favourite Pikachu at the Pokemon parade. They run only on weekends at 3.30pm and 5pm, so make sure to plan accordingly (especially if you want a better view)!

If you’re visiting on weekdays, there are also Pikachu photo opportunities at 12.30pm, 3.30pm, and 5pm. So basically, Pikachu is always ready for your close-up.

If your idea of heaven involves retail therapy, head to the Level 4 Pokemon merch store near the balloon ride. It’s stocked with gachapon machines, Pikachu headbands, and Poke Ball keyrings that open up to reveal tiny Pokemon inside.

Say hello to Wisps in the Enchanted Garden, another free-to-enter exhibition that has just opened its doors at IF Gallery. Yes, another whimsical animal-themed exhibition that is sure to have you gripping your heart (out of cuteness, kays).

This marks the first-ever solo international showcase by Tokyo-based artist Saito Sho. Born in 1970 and trained at Tama Art University’s Graduate School, Saito has a gift for blending childlike whimsy with grown-up reflections on love, and well, life.

For this special showcase, Saito Sho made his first trip to Singapore to get inspired by the city. His new collection features delightful nods to our local sights and scenes, all rendered in his signature storybook style. 

One of my particular favourites is the pandas soaking in Marina Bay Sands’ infinity pool like it’s their private spa. 

And the painting of the bunnies breakdancing under the city skyline like they’re auditioning for Singapore’s Got Talent, got me chuckling.

The entire exhibition follows a whimsical little “wisp” as it floats through Singapore, exploring iconic landmarks and surreal scenes. Expect a world where animals rule the town while every painting tells a story.

Each piece also comes with an accompanying excerpt or caption that adds layers of humor or unexpected emotional depth. 

My absolute pick is Penguin Fight. Two penguins are locked in battle, flailing a hammerhead shark and a sawfish-like medieval weapons. I won’t spoil this for you but read the caption very carefully.

We’re not exaggerating when we say read the captions. They’re half the magic (in my opinion, at least).

While his whimsical paintings might steal the spotlight, don’t miss the handcrafted wooden animal sculptures peppered throughout the gallery. 

Each one is lovingly carved, painted, and infused with the same charm and mischief as his illustrations. Also, everything’s for sale, so yes, you could technically take a breakdancing bunny home.

Wisps in the Enchanted Garden is open now and runs until 18 May 2025, from 12pm to 8pm daily at IF Gallery.

So come get lost in a world where animals wear aprons, wield sharks, and dance under the stars.

Also, those who caught the last iteration when it came to Singapore, you’ll still be able to experience a fresh perspective. Complete with dazzling set redesigns, jaw-dropping costumes, and state-of-the-art stage tech, this will prove to be a bewitching experience.

The production has already taken Australia by storm with over one million tickets sold across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne since 2023. And now, it’s our turn to be enchanted under the golden chandeliers of Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands.

Get ready to hum (or full-on belt like admin) your favourites like Belle, Gaston, Be Our Guest, Human Again, and of course, Beauty and the Beast. The songs that made our childhoods (and still live rent-free in our heads) are returning, wrapped in fresh musical magic.

Currently starring the lovely Shubshri Kandiah as Belle and Brendan Xavier as the Beast in the Aussie production, we can’t wait to see them don the iconic yellow ballgown and brooding horns.

And now, they’re spreading their wings and bringing their wildly popular chicken joint Sides to Singapore!

For the uninitiated, Sides is well-known for their golden-fried, double-dipped, double-coated Nashville-style chicken (this is a whole tongue twister). After setting up shop in the United Kingdom, Singapore is next to get its claws on this.

Some fans have already spotted the Sides signage popping up at Bugis+, and Capitaland has confirmed they’re landing soon (peeps, their website!). 

So you can bet your last chicken nugget we’re already clucking with anticipation. There are even official Instagram and TikTok accounts, although they’re still sitting unhatched — no posts yet, but we’re watching like hawks.

So what’s on the menu, you ask? 

As always, the official Singapore menu has not been released just yet. But hopefully, we will find their Sandos, Sliders, Tenders, and Wings (and I’m anticipating all the different flavours too).

There are also a couple of plant-based items on the UK menu that they might bring out.

And let’s not forget the sides (yes, the Sides sides): Waffle Fries, Mac and Cheese bites, Onion Rings, Cheese Poppers, and more. 

Oh, and did we mention? It’s all halal-friendly too. No fowl play here (haha, get it).

Of course, we’re hoping for everything to stay affordable (no counting your chicken before it hatches). Most ala carte menu items are under £10 (S$17.25) in the UK.

Maybe not cheap, but not too hard to swallow either and we’re praying that it stays in the same range (or admin would have to eat chicken rice for the rest of the week). 

They’re currently still in the midst of opening but we are expecting them to open by mid-2025 latest (please open earlier, juseyo).

For anyone whose soul thrives on cuteness overload, Sanrio Puroland is an absolute must-visit. Unlike traditional theme parks, this one is completely indoors, making it the perfect choice for those who hate unpredictable weather (or just prefer not to melt in the sun).

True to its name, Sanrio Puroland is a love letter to all things Sanrio: from Hello Kitty and My Melody to Pompompurin, Gudetama, and Cinnamoroll.

Though, if your favourite character is a little more niche (fellow Chococat lovers unite and bring your own plushie along), you might have to work harder to spot them.

There are a couple of ways to get tickets. You can grab them at the park counter or through ticketing partners (for my ‘J’ planners). With that, there are three types of tickets: Passport tickets, Annual Passes, and Puroland tickets.

Passport tickets are only limited to day and afternoon options, while Annual passes let you enter the park all-year long. 

Adult prices for day tickets vary from ¥3900 (S$35.57) to ¥5900 (S$53.82) while prices for kids below 17 years old start from ¥2800 (S$25.54). Check out the comprehensive pricing here.

Or consider getting the Puroland tickets, their version of a fast pass. Note that these can only be purchased at vending machines near each ride with prices starting from ¥500 (S$4.56).

If meeting a Sanrio character is your top priority, head straight to the Character Greeting Residence and scan the QR code to book a timeslot. 

Want to meet Hello Kitty in person? Tour her lavish European-style mansion at Lady Kitty House and take photos with her at the end.

Sanrio Puroland has some of the cutest rides ever, and you cannot leave without trying Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure, a five-minute competitive shooting ride.

Oh, and also the MyMerroaddrive, a short three-minute car ride through a diorama world introducing My Melody and her friends. 

Finish up with the Sanrio Character Boat Ride, a boat journey through Sanrio wonderland, featuring almost the entire Sanrio gang (which explains why the line is always the longest).

One thing you can’t miss out on is their biggest parade, Miracle Gift Parade. The park’s most iconic show features stunning lights, acrobatics, and characters like Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel.

There are so many other things that you can do here so make sure to keep a day (or two) free in your itinerary.

Blue Bottle Coffee has officially arrived! Yes, the cult-favourite brand from the US has finally opened its first-ever cafe in Southeast Asia, right in the heart of LUMINE Singapore. 

If you’ve ever scrolled past those ultra-aesthetic Blue Bottle cups on Instagram and wondered what the fuss was about, now’s your chance to find out.

Blue Bottle Coffee Singapore is a whole vibe. 

The open-concept space lets you watch the baristas work their magic while soaking in the natural light.

As self-proclaimed coffee addicts (no shame), my co-workers and I obviously had to be there to see if it lived up to the hype. Spoiler: We left caffeinated and slightly poorer.

Let’s talk numbers. Blue Bottle’s drinks don’t come cheap, most start at S$6.50 and go up to S$10. If you’re the type to cringe at a hefty price tag (lowkey same), you might need to brace yourself.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s on offer:

For espressos, it ranges from S$6.50 to S$9.50. 

And, other coffee options include Gibraltar (S$7.50), Drip Coffee Blend (S$10), Cold Brew (S$7.50). 

There are also non-coffee options like Lemon Yuzu Fizz ($8.50), Matcha Latte ($9.50), Kimino Sparkling Peach Juice ($7.50), and more.

We got their Latte (S$8.50), Mocha (S$9.50), and the must-try Nola (S$8), a creamy, easy-to-drink blend that’s a Blue Bottle signature.

What’s coffee without a good pastry? 

Blue Bottle Coffee Singapore sources its bakes from Bakery Brera, offering a mix of croissants, kouign-amanns, caneles, and pain au chocolat. 

We tried the Triple Cheese & Turkey Croissant (S$8) which was perfect for savoury lovers. With the layers of turkey ham and melted mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan, it was a perfect combination.

But the real stars are the Singapore-exclusive treats: Coconut Kouign-Amann (S$8) and Pandan Canele with Kaya (S$6). 

And, as kaya lovers, we also did get the latter. As a personal preference, I did enjoy this more but it was on the sweeter side (my coworker somehow thinks it wasn’t sweet though).

Also, before you leave, don’t forget to check out their retail section! 

You’ll find exclusive Blue Bottle goodies like coffee beans, brewing equipment, instant coffee, and matcha kits, with prices starting from S$8. 

If you’re ready to splurge a little for a premium caffeine fix (and a great photo opportunity), it’s definitely worth checking out.

However, our pockets do feel emptier (admin can’t wait for her next paycheck).
