I’m not sure if it’s a Singaporean thing, but the first place I must hit up at any buffet is the fresh seafood station. If you, like me, can never get enough of crab legs, oysters, and sashimi, Cafe Mosaic at Carlton Hotel Singapore has brought back its Truly Singapore Flavours Seafood Buffet with an incredible 1-for-1 deal you won’t want to miss.
Having reopened in mid-2022, Cafe Mosaic has resumed operations as an all-day dining destination in City Hall, bringing back the international buffets it is best known for.
Embark on a gastronomical journey with an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet, where you can indulge in an array of seafood items and a smörgåsbord of local delights. Highlights include Salted Egg Crayfish, Fried Fish with Mala Sauce, and Scallop with Soya & Garlic Flakes, as well as classics like Mee Siam, Laksa, and Singapore Rojak.
Feel free to walk around and explore The Salad Bar, The Carving Table, The Local Stall, The Patisserie and The Fruit Stall. Guests can (and should) start with a Seafood On Ice platter, consisting of fresh oysters, king crab legs, black mussels, poached prawns, salmon sashimi, and tako sashimi.
The weekend-only Truly Singapore Flavours Seafood Buffet (S$118++ per adult, S$38++ per child) is available for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and lunch on Sundays.
