I don’t know about you but lately it seems like everyone on my social media is travelling to Hong Kong — is this a sign for me?

Well, if you’re planning to visit the land of dim sum, egg tarts and roast delights then you’ll wanna check out this new budget airline Greater Bay Airlines with daily flights between Singapore and Hong Kong starting from just S$82

Greater Bay Airlines is a pretty new low-cost carrier based in Shenzhen together with their sister airline Donghai Airlines. They offer daily flights to countries like Seoul, Taiwan, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Manilla, Vietnam, and now, Singapore — yay us.

You’ll be able to book from three different fare tiers —- Go Go, Value Go, and Flex Go. Prices for each fare tier vary by seat selection and baggage allowance, with prices starting from just S$82 (HKD480) for a one-way ticket

GBA’s Go Go fare is a cheap and fuss-free option for those who travel light and don’t need a checked baggage. But, the most value-for-money option is the Value Go which comes with one piece of baggage allowance of 20kg, with rebook and refund options, all from under S$200 (HKD1,150)

You also have the opportunity to add-on items such as additional checked baggage from S$51, and pre-paid inflight meals from S$10

Timing-wise, flights to Hong Kong depart from Singapore at 2.45pm and arrive in Hong Kong at 6.45pm. On the other hand, flights to Singapore depart from Hong Kong at 9.45am and arrive in Singapore at 1.45pm

I will admit that the flight timings aren’t the most ideal for those looking to maximise their time spent in a country. But for what it’s worth, the fares are pretty affordable so maybe you can add on an extra day or two.

The flights between Hong Kong and Singapore will officially kick off on 26 April 2024, and you’ll be able to book your flights from 26 April onwards — perfect for those planning a little vacay in June.

While you’re exploring the sights and sounds of Hong Kong, and stuffing your face silly with all the dim sum, don’t forget to head down to Hong Kong Disneyland to say hi to Elsa, Anna and Olaf!

Looking for a new travel destination? A flight to Hong Kong sounds like a pretty good idea!
