Joo Chiat is always the spot to be for good food and charming trinkets, and here’s another excuse for you to head down for your next date.
Heartware Store & Gallery, a new artsy spot, is now hosting London-based Tess Smith-Robert’s first solo exhibition in Singapore!

Does the location sound unfamiliar? That’s because Heartware Store & Gallery just opened in April 2025.
Run by the team behind Kinetic Singapore, it’s part design store, part art gallery — and all heart. Art is the focus in this curated space, but with a touch of chaos.

From now until 25 May, Smith-Robert’s exhibition, titled Hello Singapore!, is here with a curated collection of lively art.

The talented artist even created exclusive pieces for Singapore, and here’s one of her favourite new drawings for the exhibition.

If I could sum up the exhibition in six words, it would be: Fruits, foods, and adorable doggos.

Smith-Robert’s art focuses on the objects and scenarios in everyday life, reimagined with a bold splash of colour.

If you’re always keeping an eye out for cool photo ops in Singapore, now’s your chance to grab cute shots with your besties.
I don’t want to spoil the entire exhibition for you, but be prepared to be greeted by a gigantic cherry at the entrance (that’s me before and after my morning coffee).

For those who missed the recent Public Garden event, you won’t be missing out because there’s a bunch of cute collectables and merchandise for sale.
From artist-grade silkscreen printing to stationery and plushies, you’ll definitely find something lovable to call your own.

Are you ready for a visit full of colour and fun?
