When it comes to Halal-certified hotpot in Singapore, Hahahotpot often comes to mind. That said, it’s time to expand our options with one of the newest additions to the scene—Jing Hotpot

Located in Kinex Mall, just a five-minute walk from Paya Lebar MRT station, Jing Hotpot sits on the second floor. The staff recommend making a reservation in advance, as seats are limited

Step inside and you’ll notice Jing Hotpot’s sleek, minimalist interior, which sets a more intimate mood than most hotpot spots. It’s ideal for date nights or anniversaries, yet the atmosphere remains warm and lively, with diners cheerfully refilling ingredients and sharing the experience with loved ones.

If you’ve tried Hahahotpot, you’ll know that ingredients are ordered on an à la carte basis. Jing Hotpot takes a different approach with an all-you-can-eat buffet, giving you a generous 90 minutes to feast.

What truly sets Jing Hotpot apart is its table setup. Each diner gets an individual hotpot bowl alongside a shared grilling area, so there’s no need to compromise on soup choices. Everyone can enjoy their preferred broth without negotiation.

Choose from five soup bases—tangy Tom Yum Soup, numbingly spicy Signature Mala Soup, milky Creamy Herbal Chicken Soup, sweet Savoury Tomato Soup, and comforting Herbal Mushroom Soup. If spice or dairy isn’t your thing, you can choose the level of spiciness or request a dairy-free broth to suit your preferences.

When it comes to ingredients, Jing Hotpot splits its spread into cooked and raw options. Start with the cooked selections, where you’ll find indulgent fried snacks like popiah, wantons, and mantou. If you’re lucky, shrimp fried rice also makes an appearance.

The raw ingredients truly steal the spotlight. From New Zealand Beef Brisket and Striploin to seasoned specialities like Mala Beef and Tom Yum Chicken, the variety ensures there’s something for everyone at the table. Craving for more premium meats? Jing Hotpot also offers premium meats à la carte, such as the Snow Crab Legs (S$22), Australian Wagyu MB4/5 (S$22), Lamb Rack (S$16), and more.

Jing Hotpot also rolls out limited-time seasonal items from time to time. A previous highlight was the Coastal Cream Mac & Cheese, made out of tender crab meat, a rich seafood-infused cream sauce, and finished with a drizzle of homemade house-blend chilli oil.

Wrap up your buffet experience by refreshing your palate with fresh fruits and crowd favourite Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Jing Hotpot makes a great spot for gatherings, date nights, or even a solo treat.

The restaurant opens daily from 12pm to 10pm, with last orders at 8.30pm. Prices range from S$36.90 to S$42.90 per adult, and S$18.45 to S$21.45 per child. All things considered, Jing Hotpot is well worth a visit—especially with Ramadan just around the corner.
