I wonder if you know how they live in Tokyo. If you see me then you mean it, then you know you have to go Fast and furious.

I think you can kinda guess where we’re headed with this one. That’s right, we have yet another go karting spot in Johor Bahru that will send you speeding through the circuit, enduring sharp twists and turns, and more!

OMK Tebrau, or Oh My Kart, is located on the first floor of AEON Mall Tebrau City in JB and is one of the newest kids on the block. Unlike most go karting places, OMK is situated indoors, which means you’ll be able to enjoy your race in the shade and away from the blazing sun.

The track might be situated indoors, but it still bears plenty of sharp twists and turns that’ll certainly put your skills and reflexes to the test. What’s even cooler is the entire race strip is lit with neon lights and signs which add to the thrill of the race.

OMK Tebrau also uses  more compact battery-powered karts, giving you top notch aerodynamics and ultimate speed. Depending on how badly you wanna win, you can choose between the Regular Speed kart and the Professional Speed kart.

There are also kid-friendly karts available too, so even your little ones can join in the fun. The Child Speed kart is suitable for kids aged seven and above, while the Regular Speed kart is for those 10 and above, and the Professional is for those aged 12 and above

If this is your first time behind the wheel, don’t panic because there will be a safety briefing as well as a crash course (no pun intended) on how to operate the vehicle before the race. And if all else fails, just wave your hands and the safety marshals will come to your rescue.

For hygiene and safety purposes, you’ll be provided with a hairnet and a helmet which you are required to wear throughout the race. Do note that you’ll also be required to wear covered shoes in order to participate in the race.

Price-wise, each session lasts around 10 minutes and costs just S$8.63 (RM30) for the Child Speed kart, S$10.07 (RM35) for the Regular Speed kart, and S$13.53 (RM47) for the Professional Speed kart.

JB is once again coming in clutch by giving us all more fun things to do over the weekend. Looks like it’s time for another trip across the borders again!

Do you like it fast and furious
