If you haven’t watched Inside Out 2 or Despicable Me 4, now’s your chance to make plans for a movie marathon this weekend! Shaw Theatres is offering one-for-one movie tickets on weekends from now until 29 September 2024 — no more complaining that movie tickets are expensive — and here’s how you can enjoy this spectacular deal.
This one-for-one movie ticket promotion is only available online and is exclusive to SAFRA members. But don’t worry, I’m pretty sure we know of at least one friend who is a SAFRA member — think: your male friends who have served or are serving NS, or even your own brother or dad!
To claim the deal, you’ll need to log in to your SAFRA account either online or via the mobile app. Once you’re logged in, simply choose “Movie Treats” under the Member’s Exclusive tab and you’ll be redirected to the Shaw Theatres website.
The next few steps are exactly the same as how you would typically go about booking your movie tickets online. Once you’ve selected your movie, time slot and seats, you’ll have to click on “SAFRA 1 for 1 Weekend” and add that to your cart.
All that’s left is for you to checkout and make payment. Once that is done, you’ll receive your booking confirmation and e-tickets via email — just like when you order your movie tickets online.
With this deal, you’ll essentially be getting two regular priced tickets at just S$7.75 each (U.P. S$15.50), which is almost as good as the student deal — what a steal especially since most of us aren’t technically considered students anymore.
The one-for-one movie ticket promotion is limited to the first 300 redemptions each day. The promotion starts from 7am on the same day and is not applicable for advance ticket sales. Each member is also only allowed one redemption per day and standard booking fees still apply.
