Concerts by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra
There’s one thing your laptop speakers can’t replace — and that’s a live orchestra in full swing. Ditch the tiny screens and step into the Esplanade Concert Hall, where the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is serving up two spectacular nights of music magic.
On 7 August and 8 August 2025, Disney’s Fantasia In Concert Live To Film brings the iconic animation to life with a full orchestral soundtrack performed live by the SSO and led by Singaporean conductor Joshua Tan. With classics like Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker in the mix, it’s a charming, family-friendly introduction to orchestral music that Disney lovers of all ages will enjoy.

Then, on 29 August and 30 August 2025, journey deeper into the classics with Pletnev’s Swan Lake and Trumpet Concerto. Featuring pianist-conductor Mikhail Pletnev and trumpet virtuoso Sergei Nakariakov, the concert offers a fresh interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite, ideal for ballet fans and classical newcomers alike.
