While you may already be familiar with the bustling restaurant-lined streets of Siglap, have you ever visited The Sundowner for its unique lineup of workshops?

With a focus on nature and community, this experience centre has it all — farm tours, DIY pasta workshops, crafting workshops, and movie screenings. Everything is hosted within a bright yellow 1960s shophouse across three levels.
The Rooftop Farm Experience is their flagship experience, where you can come up close and personal with the earth’s creepy crawlies.

First, you’ll learn more about Organic Gardening. Yes, you’ll be getting your hands dirty as you dig into the soil. After, hand-feed bees pollen at Bee Encounter while examining their nests.
As the sun sets, Farm-to-Table allows you to sample their extensive honey library, along with a DIY garden-garnished cocktail.
Held on Saturdays from 5pm to 7pm, prices start from S$115 for adults and S$85 for children.

Always had dreams of being a cook? They offer a huge range of DIY food workshops, where you can brew your own coffee, make kombucha and kimchi, and even dish out pasta from scratch.

Bean to Bar Chocolate Making is Singapore’s only live cacao roasting workshop. Here, you’ll be able to roast raw beans and transform them into your very own chocolate bar.
Held on Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm, prices start from S$120 for adults.

At Pasta By Hand, it’s a labour of love as you knead pasta dough for lunch. For beginners, expect to enjoy a meal of egg dough pappardelle or squid ink tagliatelle, complete with fresh herbs from their rooftop garden.
If you’re more skilled, however, try your hand at ravioli and tortellini.
Held on weekends from 10am to 1pm, prices start from S$125 for adults and S$95 for children.

Here at The Sundowner, you’ll also be able to enjoy nature workshops on their rooftop garden. Hone your artistic skills while crafting mini treehouses or zen gardens.
Turn honeycomb into beeswax in Beeswax Candle Making, where you’ll be able to customise your organic beeswax candles with botanicals from the garden.
Held on Sundays from 2.30pm to 4pm, prices start from S$85 for adults and S$65 for children.

For a relaxing night, check out Nomad’s Tent Bar, Singapore’s first dessert-themed bar with cocktails such as Bee’s Knees and Classic Negroni.
For 90 minutes, you’ll get the space all to yourself at S$150 for 2 pax.

There are over 20 activities available in this interesting hub, so check out their website here for more details. Do note that walk-ins are not allowed, so make sure to book an appointment before heading down!
