If you were one of those people who couldn’t wait to get their hands on the highly-anticipated Press Butter Sand cookies, here’s an upcoming launch worth getting excited over.
With several outlets in Japan and Thailand, the famous Anri Bakery from Osaka will finally be opening their first-ever Singapore outpost in Takashimaya.
This is not their first time in Singapore — those who visited Takashimaya’s seasonal Japanese food fairs in February and May 2023 may have spotted (and even tried the bakes from) their booth.
Anri exclusively uses apples from Aomori prefecture, Japan, which are believed to be one of the best apples in the world, so I definitely can’t wait to try the signature Aomori Apple Pie.
Even better, the Double Aomori Apple Pie is packed with extra apple filling.
There’s also an extra large version in the form of the Big Apple Pie, which is said to be five times the size of a regular Apple Pie, and comes filled with a rich custard cream.
Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the Chocolate Aomori Apple Pie, which sees chocolate chips and Aomori apples layered in between chocolate puff pastry, finished off with a dusting of icing sugar.
Not a fan of apples? Take your pick from other freshly baked pies like the Sweet Potato Pie, which boasts a striking purple sweet potato filling; tangy Yuzu Pie; and cream-filled Custard Cream Cornet.
Let’s hope the bakery will also bring in their adorable Mini Croissants.
All pies are priced at S$6.50.
Will you be heading down for a taste of those exquisite apple pies?
