Thailand’s favourite mascot, Butterbear, is visiting KFC Singapore with its exclusive Thai sweet and spicy sauce, blind boxes, merchandise, and more

Sawasdee kaThailand’s beloved mascot has graced us with its presence in Singapore! Nong Noey, also known as Butterbear, is now chilling out at selected Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlets islandwide.

Starting 15 October 2025, KFC is introducing limited-edition Thai-inspired menu items and exclusive Butterbear merchandise you won’t want to miss.

Butterbear Merchandise

If you would like to bring a piece of Nong Noey home, here’s a sneak peek at the merchandise you can score—guaranteed to make any fan squeal with delight.

Start with the adorable Butterbear printed socks, available in two playful designs. The red version features Butterbear alongside KFC’s signature fried chicken bucket in 8-bit art form. Heads up that this is only available for food delivery orders via the KFC Singapore’s mobile app.

The green and yellow version brings Butterbear together with KFC’s egg tart in 8-bit style, too. This one’s a GrabFood exclusive with any KFC order, and you’ll need to top up an additional S$5.95 per pair on top of your delivery order to snag them.

Next up is the Butterbear sticker sheet! Get it for free when you order two for S$12 breakfast Twister Buddy Meals — available for takeaway or dine-in. This will be claimable at every KFC outlet, except Sentosa. It’s so cute that I am so tempted to snag a few pieces for my laptop.

Finally, the one that’s sure to grab your interest the most is the KFC x Butterbear Blind Box Figurine keychain. There are four different designs, each inspired by a KFC menu item. But honestly, no matter which keychain you end up with, they’re all equally cute.

To be eligible for one blind box figurine, you must order the Thai-Thai Saucy Bites Box (S$11.95) or the Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken Box Set (S$13.95), and you’ll need to top up an additional S$12.95 for each blind box figurine purchase. Bring along three other friends to enjoy a KFC feast if you’re determined to collect them all.

There is also the Butterbear Plus Crossbody Bag (S$15.95), which has unfortunately been completely redeemed now.

Exclusive KFC Menu

As self-proclaimed fried chicken enthusiasts who devour fried chicken in seconds, we were more hyped for the limited-edition menu items rather than the merchandise itself. The items encapsulate the Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken Box (S$4.60 per piece), Thai-Thai Saucy Bites (S$6.95 for 8 pcs), and the sweet treat Thai Fritters with Condensed Milk (S$4.40).

We adore all things spicy, so the moment we laid eyes on the fried chicken, coated in a thick reddish-black sauce, our excitement shot through the roof, and we were ready to devour it in seconds.

With just one bite, I could taste that it was more of an overpowering blend of sweetness than spice. Unbeknownst to us, until we felt the spice hit us like a truck, growing stronger with every bite. By the last piece, we were completely defeated by the authentic Thai sauce

If the fried chicken feels too intense for your palate, we recommend getting the chicken bites. They’re also coated in the same sweet and spicy Thai sauce, just in a smaller, bite-sized form.

Our palates were cleansed by the Thai Fritters with Condensed Milk. These little soft dough fritters, modelled after the well-known Thai-Chinese street snack Patongko, was the after-meal dessert we desperately needed.

It was a pleasure having Butterbear visit Singapore, from the adorable merchandise to the delicious Thai-inspired menu items. The entire experience was truly unforgettable.

We hope you’ll have your fill with the goodies and be one of the lucky ones to bring Nong Noey home.
