Lumphini Park

Want to get closer to nature and the outdoors? Visit Bangkok’s first public park — Lumphini Park. Located near the central business district of Bangkok, this park feels like an oasis where you can slow down, take in some fresh air, and appreciate the city skyline while taking a stroll.

At the same time, the park is home to numerous sights and activities. You can go for a morning run, exercise with some upbeat music in the background, or explore the library in the park. Just make sure to watch your steps as you might run into a monitor lizard or two!

One popular activity at Lumphini Park, however, would have to be renting a Swan Paddle Boat or rowing boat and having a short trip out on the lake. Definitely try this if you want a different park experience.

The Adoptable Puppy Cafe

If you’d like to do something a little more wholesome during your trip to Bangkok, consider attending one of the pop-up events by The Adoptable Puppy Cafe. This social enterprise and dog rescue initiative has helped more than 800 dogs find their forever homes since its start in 2019. 

Their events are usually held at cafes and venues around Bangkok, where you can spend a few hours enjoying some coffee or a meal, and meet adorable dogs at the same time. More than just playing with these pups, all of them will also be up for free adoption.

While only local adoptions are accepted, entry to these events is free, and donations are welcome. So, if you’d like to do something meaningful and support a cause during your trip, keep an eye out for The Adoptable Puppy Cafe’s events. They might just be hosting an event during your vacation to Bangkok.

Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium

Thailand is also home to Muay Thai. If you are a fan of the martial art or combat sports in general, you have to visit Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium at least once. Fights are hosted at the venue every night from Mondays to Sundays, so it should be easy for you to slot one into your itinerary.

If you want to experience Muay Thai up close and be immersed in its cultural heritage, this is the place to go. Thrilling fights, large dome projections, and electrifying crowds will give you a memorable Thai boxing experience you can only get in Bangkok.

MOCA BANGKOK

To all our artsy readers and museum goers, you are not forgotten. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is a five-storey museum that houses both permanent and temporary exhibitions, showcasing works from Thai and international artists.

If you’d like to enjoy a slower, quieter day away from the hustle and bustle of the city while seeing a different side of Thai culture, this is for you. The design and architecture of the museum itself is an art, giving visitors a pleasant experience both visually and practically.

It is easy to move from space to space, and there is even a coffee shop within the museum’s facilities. For those of you looking for rest or creative inspiration, MOCA BANGKOK is a compelling place to visit.

This is probably one of the main highlights of FurKids Fiesta — the highly anticipated debut of adidas’ first-ever pet collection. It features adorable designs that are essentially mini versions of the 2026 FIFA World Cup jerseys.

If you are a pet owner gearing up for the World Cup, you can now match in style with your furry companion in your favourite team jerseys. Currently, the pet collection launched in Singapore features Japan and Argentina kits, which cost S$49 each.

There are also bandanas (S$25), collars (S$79), and other accessories available for purchase. Exclusively at FurKids Fiesta, every purchase of bandanas also comes with free Vinyl Heat Press customisation.

Another highlight of FurKids Fiesta is the line-up of expert sessions designed to support you as a pet owner. This includes Pet CPR Educational Demonstrations and How to Choose Candles & Home Fragrances That Are Safer For Your Pet.

Plush Rejuvenation Workshop 

Plush rejuvenation workshops (S$50) are also available at the centre. During the 1-hour-30-minute session, learn how to repair, clean, and care for your plush and give them a second chance of life. 

Participating in this workshop also means that you can bring any plush of your choice (with a polyester stuffing and maximum height of 40cm) to work on, resulting in a glowed-up companion to bring home.

Curious about what it’s like to be a toy doctor? Join the centre and become a Toy Doctor for a day (S$35). 

Receive a tour of the back of house treatment room, master simple sewing skills to restore plushies, and be certified as a Junior Toy Doctor at the end of the day!

Build Your Own Plush

Alternatively, build your own plush (S$35) by stuffing, hand-sewing, and personalising your new fluffy companion. True to the name of building your own plush, sew a unique heart onto your new friend, and receive a birth certificate to mark bringing it to life.

Bellygom Goes Local 

Bellygom and friends have landed in Singapore for the first time at Changi Airport! The popular South Korean pink bear, Bellygom, known for surprising people and spreading joy, brings a delightful Singapore-inspired experience until 3 May 2026.

At Terminal 3’s Departure Hall, a gigantic seven-metre tall inflatable Bellygom takes centre stage, setting the scene for the festivities. Walk closer and you will find Bellygom’s friends pose with larger-than-life iconic local favourites, including ice gem biscuits with Ja-Ah Dochi the hedgehog, a cup of kopi featuring Daldal-Guri the raccoon, and Peranakan tingkat tiffin carriers with Malamala the yoga teacher peeking out from behind.

Hop Up! Easter on the Rooftop

The rooftop bar Baia has launched a family-friendly Easter celebration in collaboration with Esplanade, that blends bougie rooftop dining with fun-filled kids’ activities such as Easter egg hunts.

The F1 Exhibition

We might still be three months away from the Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix, but the F1 buzz has already reached our shores. The F1 Exhibition opened here on 23 July 2026, which means that all you F1 fans and motorsports enthusiasts can explore it this weekend. 

The main thing to look forward to at The F1 Exhibition is seven immersive rooms and zones, engineered to bring you into the history and action of the sport. A couple of rooms explore the past, present, and future of F1, with rare artefacts of yesteryear and glimpses of where the sport is heading today and tomorrow.

Other rooms are filled with displays of cars and parts, as well as drivers’ suits and equipment. You will come out of these rooms with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the inner workings of F1.

The broth is made from chicken bones simmered for over six hours with a secret blend of ingredients. This soup delivers a naturally collagen-rich broth with clean yet highly concentrated flavour. Topped with tender boneless chicken thigh, it’s a comforting departure from the brand’s signature beef-based dishes. 

Want something that completes your meal? The Mild Chicken Soup Set (with fresh boneless chicken thigh) comes with a complimentary side dish — Braised Tofu Pouch in Spicy Beef Broth. Huh? A coffee house serving Nasi Lemak and Indomie Noodles? That was our first reaction too – but trust us, it makes sense once you try it. Fangko House brings together the best of Indonesian comfort food and specialty coffee, all under one roof. 

Seats are never in short supply here – but come lunchtime, the crowd of office workers and tourists starts to build. From the HKS Ultimate Indomie Chimken and Wet Indomie with Chimken (yes — “Chimken,” it isn’t a typo) to the Matcha Strawberry Latte and Fangko Honey Lemon Flower, there are plenty of options for lunch and dinner.

Planning to head to Johor Bahru (JB) this weekend for a day trip and need some food recommendations? If you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine just across the border, consider visiting Bottega JB. The restaurant has an extensive menu, including Specials of the Month, Cold Platter, Salad, Soup & Starter, Pizza, Panuozzo & Toast, Pasta & Mains, and Desserts. 

The last time we were there, we let the server’s recommendation guide us to the deep-fried Soft Shell Crab, and it did not disappoint. Fried to a delicate crisp, the soft shell crab shatters with each bite, revealing tender, sweet crab meat within. A textural delight from start to finish, this was easily our favourite dish from Bottega JB. 

But we also tried dishes from their Pasta and Main Course section, such as La Genovese, a Candele Pasta with Stewed Beef and a healthy dose of Pecorino Romano Cheese. Desserts like the Homemade Tiramisu with Alcohol were also a highlight.

Diners rave about the Clear Tom Yum Soup for its perfect balance of spicy and sour, featuring juicy prawns and squid. Prefer the soup milder or spicier? Just ask, and the staff are more than happy to adjust the spice level to match your tolerance. 

On our last visit, we also ordered the Crispy Thai Omelette as recommended by the staff, which wasn’t too greasy. Another dish that stood out was the tender Stir-fried Beef with addictive yet crispy garlic.

Food Republic at Jewel

If you’re near Jewel Changi Airport this weekend, make sure to drop by Food Republic for a meal and check out the refreshed food atrium. Having reopened at the start of July, it now houses the largest lineup of Michelin Bib Gourmand brands at an airport in Asia, as well as immersive decorations that harken back to the 1970s. 

We had the pleasure of visiting recently and tasting all four stalls that have earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. Our favourite? Na Na Homemade Curry · Peranakan Cuisine. The 10-year Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient’s Chicken Curry Set served with Rainbow Bread kept us asking for more.

McDonald’s Curry Burger

It seems there is some healthy competition between the fast food restaurants, because McDonald’s is not losing out to KFC when it comes to having a curry-themed National Day menu. This National Day, McDonald’s Singapore is teaming up with Old Chang Kee to honour and celebrate Curry.

This collaboration serves up their rendition of a flavour that Singaporeans adore. Co-created with Old Chang Kee and reimagined through a modern lens, McDonald’s will be releasing a few new limited-time items — Curry Potato Chicken Burger (Single/Double), Rendang Curry Beef Burger (Single/Double), Curry McShaker Fries, Pineapple Coconut Pie, Sweet Potato Mochi Balls, and Mango Soft Serve.

Brotzeit

From 23 June 2026 to 26 August 2026, one of Singapore’s most recognisable German restaurants, Brotzeit, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. A limited-time menu will be available, marking the restaurant’s two decades of serving customers in Singapore.

Looking at Brotzeit’s 20th Anniversary Menu, you will realise there is a cross-cultural theme where German and Asian flavours collide. One highlight is the Asiatische Schweinshaxn (S$42), a mala-marinated pork knuckle that reimagines one of the restaurant’s signature German dishes. Diners can expect succulent slow-braised meat that comes off the bone easy, thanks to it being marinated for 24 hours prior. 

The Hühnerschnitzel “Salted Egg” (S$28) is another unique creation worth trying. Imagine the usual tze char cereal chicken dish with a German twist, featuring tender chicken breast coated in crispy golden cereal and salted egg. 

For those of you with a sweet tooth, desserts like the Apfel Pandan Kaya Strudel (S$15) and Matcha Kaiserschmarrn (S$22) will complete your meal. The former is layered with pandan sponge, kaya, and apple strudel, and topped with a drizzle of salted gula melaka. The latter is infused with matcha powder and is served with fresh strawberries and a homemade strawberry compote. 

Brotzeit is not just a restaurant but also a beer bar, so it is no surprise that the menu includes exclusive drinks during the anniversary celebration period. The Bo Chup Singapore Lager (S$11 for 0.33L, S$14 for 0.45L, S$85 for 3L) is a light, refreshing brew crafted in collaboration with local beer brand Bo Chup, and is perfect for Singapore’s climate.

A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line

Starting 24 June 2026, Sentosa will be transformed into seven themed areas with activities running daily until 20  September 2026. A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line is a collaboration between Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) and Disney Cruise Line. 

This day-to-night experience combines light, sound, movement and Sentosa’s precincts and natural landscapes to create sunlit beach encounters, interactive play spaces, glowing night-time environments and discovery-led trails. There will also be multiple glowing installations lighting up the spaces in vibrant colours after dark. 

One of Sentosa’s most iconic landmarks, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, will be transformed into a glowing coastal wonderland inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay. For the first time, this area will extend its opening hours until 10pm as part of a dedicated night-time programme.

Tiap Tiap

Tiap Tiap is one of Singapore’s most beloved heritage food brands and has recently opened the doors to its first physical storefront in Joo Chiat. 

The grand opening marks six years since founder Sophia Yeow began baking from her home kitchen, starting a journey that has taken the brand from a two-product home delivery operation to a central kitchen, and now, a permanent home. 

Sophia initially started with just three items: pandan chiffon cake, radish and yam kueh. But now, the menu that is known for its iconic sweet treats has grown, and even includes savoury take-home items, such as  paper-wrapped chicken, Teochew ngoh hiang, Nyonya curry midwings, and seafood yuteow.

Tea with a Little Hunny

From 1 June 2026 to 31 August 2026, SKAI invites you to a charming new high tea experience inspired by Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and friends. Set against panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline, the experience invites guests into the gentle story of Pooh and his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood, where familiar characters are reimagined through refined flavours and clever culinary craft.

Led by Executive Chef Enver Can Gumus and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong, the menu balances storytelling and imagination with precision. Sanrio Hapidanbui x Adventure Cove Waterpark Singapore 2026

Sanrio fans, this one’s for you. Until 30 August 2026, Adventure Cove Waterpark is transforming into a colourful Sanrio Hapidanbui paradise, marking the first-ever Sanrio Hapidanbui-themed waterpark experience in Singapore. Expect giant inflatables and photo spots featuring fan-favourite characters like Bad Badtz-Maru, Pochacco, Hangyodon and Tuxedosam. Alongside that, you can enjoy themed food, exclusive merchandise and collectable character tattoos as you conquer rides around the park.

When hunger strikes, tuck into adorable themed treats such as the Hangyodon Fish Burger Set (S$24), Bad Badtz-Maru Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice Set (S$25), Pochacco Swiss Roll (S$10) and Ahirunopekkle Bombolone (S$9.50). Visitors who spend at least S$50 within the park can also redeem limited-edition waterproof Hapidanbui stickers, while stocks last. Tickets start from S$34 for adults and S$29 for children, making this a splashy day out for both Sanrio lovers and families during the June school holidays.

Visit a quaint new café that opened along South Bridge Road. MOZmoji陌迹, a hidden ceramics and speciality coffee shop, feels like a breath of fresh air among Singapore’s abundant F&B scene. The 2-storey store is furnished with wood-panelled floors, windows and furniture, giving it a calm, earthy appearance. One of its most unique features is the display of beautiful, hand-crafted ceramic pieces, which are available for purchase.

Rainforest Wild Adventure

Calling all explorers, thrill seekers and animal lovers! Rainforest Wild Adventure will be opening its second phase from 20 May 2026 onwards. The wildlife park’s rebrand is more than just a name change, but a signal of its new era.

The refurbished park will have 2 zones: Rainforest Wild Adventure West and Rainforest Wild Adventure East. And it is the latter, which will house the park’s newest attractions and activities, introducing a more immersive, adventure-focused wildlife experience. Expect new features like the Canopy Glider and Ravine Swing, which will take you above the trees, allowing you to enjoy the Afro-tropical landscape.

Priced at S$70 per ticket, the charity event, Paws with a Cause, will give all proceeds to Guide Dogs Singapore—an organisation dedicated to helping the visually impaired overcome challenges and navigate their daily lives. 

Included in the package is, of course, a sunrise dog-walk with none other than Amotti himself, early access into Universal Studios Singapore (USS), and a take-home Breakfast Bento that you can redeem at New York Zone. 

If you’ve never heard of Amotti or Physical: 100, here’s a quick summary to catch you up. Physical: 100 is a gruelling survival show produced in South Korea, pitting a hundred contestants in their peak physical form against one another. These contestants aren’t just your ordinary gym-goers, with backgrounds ranging from bodybuilding and military to olympians, and more. 

Between the intense competition and gruelling challenges comparable to the sensational Squid Game series, the show’s popularity skyrocketed, as did its winners, including Amotti. Fans of Amotti might remember him making waves at AIA Hyrox in late 2025. If you have the opportunity to meet him in person, make sure to ask him for some fitness tips!

The event is set to take place on 5 April 2026. You’ll start the walk bright and early at 7am, with registration starting as early as 6.30am. Experience USS without all the glitz and glamour in the quiet hours of the morning, and conclude your walk at 8.30am. Use that time to snap lots of cool selfies with the fitness celebrity and bond with some fellow pawrents.

At the newest BYD Restaurant within IMM, not only can you enjoy the aromatic brews or eccentric mains, but also discover the BYD car model offerings in the same space. Not to mention, you’ll be able to find a ride even your furkid approves of! 

Back to BYD Restaurant as an actual aesthetic café full of food gems, many food options are named after its cars and the postal code of certain outlets. 

Menu

Take for example, the Good Morning 1826 Brekkie (S$18.26), a classic breakfast featuring crispy tater tots, savoury arabiki pork sausage, streaky bacon and a sunny-side-up egg served on toasted sourdough. The cute quirk? It’s priced at S$18.26, after their iconic number. 

Another brunch highlight, the Chilli Crab Shiok-shuka (S$18) combines the iconic Chilli Crab sauce with rosemary focaccia. Anchored by a creamy egg and fresh chives, the dish leads by example on how to blend a local delight with other cultures—in this case, the Middle East.

The unconventional naming doesn’t just end there, because they even have a dish named after the brand’s car series, ATTO 3 Dry Laksa (S$22). Comprising fragrant hae bee hiam tossed with sweet potato noodles, glass noodles, grilled tiger prawns and squid in thick laksa gravy, BYD by 1826 continues to showcase their Singaporean roots.  

Classic mains are also available at the BYD Restaurant, such as the S329133 Bbf (Fish & Chips) (S$18.26). Made with in-house marinated beer-battered black cod fish and served with crispy fries and a side of tangy tartar sauce, you won’t have to worry about the menu being too different from the norm.

For children, Kids’ Menus are also available, offering Ham & Cheese Toastie (S$10) and Pork Meatball Pasta (S$11). Making sure to include its iconic car branding in every dish, Kids’ Menus are also served in adorable red car trays!

If you’re simply looking for a quick bite or a space to chit-chat, BYD Restaurant also offers desserts like the Smoked Apple Lychee Tart (S$6), featuring a velvety lychee pastry infused with Smoked Apple Compote and topped with juicy lychee; or the Matcha Tiramisu (S$7), comprising creamy mascarpone and a dusting of vibrant matcha powder atop the classic pastry.

Car owner perks

Just as we thought that BYD Restaurant couldn’t offer more, BYD Restaurant presents a pleasant surprise to its car owners. Offering benefits like S$5,000 worth of vouchers, 30% discounts at their lifestyle hubs, and set meals at S$6.90 to be used at any of BYD’s 6 locations. 

As IMM is not a pet-friendly mall, you can utilise these two routes to find BYD with your furkids instead.
