It’s been quite some time since my last trip to Japan — maybe a little bit too long. If you’re like me and looking for cheap fares to the land of the rising sun, Jetstar Asia might be the saving grace we all need right now. The airline just announced the return of their direct flights from Singapore to Okinawa with fares starting from just S$159 — BRB booking my tickets now.
Fun fact: Jetstar Asia is the only airline that operates direct flights from Singapore to Okinawa. The flights will take flight on 30 November — just in time for the-year end holidays. There will be three flights operating per week, so make sure to book early especially if you’re planning to go during the December holiday period.
Jetstar’s current promotion lets you score tickets to Okinawa from just S$159 — what a steal! For S$159, you’ll only get a 7kg carry-on baggage allowance. But, for an additional S$55, you can upgrade to the Plus fare which will give you a check-in baggage allowance of 20kg, 7kg carry-on baggage, and a meal onboard — super worth it if you ask me. To put things in perspective, current flight fares to Okinawa on other airlines will set you back at least S$600 and most include a layover.
Apart from their Okinawa flights, Jetstar will also be resuming their flights from Singapore to Osaka via Manila. This flight will commence operations on 24 November 2023 with four flights weekly and will include one stopover at Manila.
The promotion ends on 16 July 2023 and it is definitely one that should not be missed. It is worth noting that the promo only applies if you book before 16 July for travel between 30 November 2023 and 21 May 2024.
So, you’re planning a year-end holiday, this is your sign to book a flight to Japan here!
