Eat to your heart’s content at Kiwami Ramen & Gyoza Bar with the first all-you-can-eat ramen buffet in Singapore

by Maeve M and Letresa Yap

With the cold, rainy days that we’ve been having recently, ramen might just be the soup-erior dinner option. And what better time than now to slurp to your heart’s content at Singapore’s first-ever ramen buffet?

Kiwami: Ramen & Gyoza Bar, found right above Tanjong Pagar MRT Station in Guoco Tower, conveniently brings you the ultimate comfort of endless noodles, rich broths, and crispy gyoza — all under one roof.

Known for their top-quality ingredients, Kiwami takes their ramen very seriously. Their tonkotsu broth is made with 100% Japanese pork bones and simmers for over 10 hours to extract every bit of flavour. The noodles are crafted from an original recipe using premium Hokkaido wheat and are made to perfectly complement the rich, silky broth.

After we sat down, we were greeted with a menu full of so many options. We went with the ramen that caught our eyes, namely the Premium Kiwami Tonkotsu Ramen, Premium Mala Ramen, and the Original Mazesoba.

For the sides, we got the Hokkaido Organic Potato with Mentaiko Cheese Mayo, Age Tofu, Truffle Edamame, Chicken Karaage, Plant-Based Truffle Katsu, and of course, the Grilled Gyoza. They were a nice addition to the dinner table, and though our favourite was the Grilled Gyoza, nothing could take away from the start of the show – the ramen.

The Premium Kiwami Tonkotsu Ramen was rich and silky, with the noodles having just the right amount of bite. The Chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and a nice component to save for that perfect last bite.

A nice contrast to the soupy ramen, the Original Mazesoba was extremely savoury and just as fun to mix. The egg yolk with the added bit of broth gave the noodles just enough sauce.

We also got the Premium Mala Ramen, which was admittedly a little too spicy. It was the kind of spicy that’s more fiery and prickly, rather than a slow burn.

We were already pretty full at this point and so relieved that the ramen came in half portions.

It’s a good thing that it’s a buffet, because we got the Cranberry Lemonade and Iced Yuzu Honey Mocktails to wash down the spice.

There are over 25 mains, sides, desserts, and drinks to choose from, and for just S$28.80++ per person, this buffet was quite the deal. Just make sure not to get overzealous when ordering like us, because we didn’t even make it to dessert.

This ramen buffet is available only at Kiwami Guoco Tower, from 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.

With just 90 minutes to feast, what will you be ordering first?
