Happy Tuesday to everyone, with an emphasis on those who had a hectic weekend. The dread of having to get up from your bed before 9am is painstakingly difficult after a fun weekend.
Like many others, I struggle to get out of bed for work, despite my love and passion for my job. Simply because I had an amazing weekend with my girl friends, celebrating her 27th birthday.
While I am typing this article, my mind is stuck replaying the moments from the quality time spent with my girl friends last weekend.
However, who says you need to wait for the weekend to spend time with your friends? Here’s a list of five places that you can go with your girl friends to repeat the weekends on ladies’ night instead.
1. Señor Taco
Señor Taco Clarke Quay, which used to be Señor Taco situated at Clarke Quay Block 3A, has been a long-standing establishment since 2009 and is beloved by many for its addictive, flavourful Mexican dishes.
Now that it’s back in Clarke Quay with a revamped look and feel, they also have nightly dance classes for customers who are ready to hit the dancefloor in style. The next session is a free Reggaeton class happening on Wednesday, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
During the free class, señoritas can quench their thirst with free drinks from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, ranging from Corona beer, mimosa, red Sangria, and more. Then, the night wraps up with a live band and DJ performance until the restaurant closes at 2am. It’s a non-stop party.

2. The Winery
With CHIJMES being a mere five-minute walk away from City Hall MRT and my office, it’s a food galore as there is an abundance of cuisines available to devour. Mexican, Japanese, Italian, and any cuisine you may be craving can easily be found within CHIJMES, with ease.
The Winery sits in basement one, and the atmosphere is perfect for a gossip session with the ladies. They have multiple amazing promotions ongoing, and my favourite is the daily wine buffet at the price of S$38 from 7pm to 10pm.
Possibly, drinking wine daily might not be your thing, and that’s okay! On Wednesday nights, there will also be free-flow drinks from 7pm to 10pm, going for S$39.

3. BQ Bar

BQ Bar might be a peculiar choice due to the bar’s reputation as a sports bar, commonly known more for their live sports streaming within its bar premises, such as the English Premier League (EPL) or National Rugby League (NRL).
Don’t be fooled by appearance, as the ladies’ night promotions are the most affordable on the list. With just S$20, ladies can enjoy free-flow Moet & Chandon champagne and naught Sangiovese gin.
There is also a Best Dressed competition happening on 1 October 2025, where the winner gets to take home a bottle of naught Sangioverse gin.

4. Tanuki Raw
Tanuki Raw, the home of fine Japanese food, is also home to alcoholics with their frequent ladies’ night promotions.
Every Wednesday and Saturday, ladies can enjoy two hours of complimentary prosecco, house red wine and house white wine.
The only catch is that you will need to pay S$5 and place a minimum order of a donburi or noodle bowl at S$24.90. For men, wine will only be priced at S$6 per glass during ladies’ nights.
It’s best to enjoy Tanuki Raw’s promotion on an empty stomach and gobble up their delicious donburi, or pass the food to your male friends, before washing it down with the wine selection.

5. Baia Bar
Nestled on top of the Esplanade mall’s rooftop, Baia SG has been open since November 2024. The establishment’s position is perfect for customers who enjoy their drinks with a magnificent view of the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore River.
Baia SG also offers ladies’ night perks on Wednesday nights, where ladies can opt into two free-flow alcohol drink packages, either the Barbie Bubbles or the Queen Bubbles.
The Barbie Bubbles unlocks a free-flow Prosecco Rose at the price of S$38, while the Queen Bubbles offers free-flow Champagne Jouette at just S$68.
