Can’t get oysters off your mind? You could either visit a buffet or slurp up as many of those molluscs as you can manage at a proper oyster buffet.
For obvious reasons, French resturants have taken the lead in that area, so you can certainly count on them for a shucking good time.

One such restaurant is LouLou, a casual and homely spot along Keong Saik Road serving up a menu that draws inspiration from the South of France and the Mediterranean.

If you visit on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 11.45am onwards, you’ll get to enjoy an extravagant brunch in the form of free-flow oysters and alcohol, while stocks last.

That’s right — for S$42, you’ll get to enjoy free-flow Fine de Clair N04 oysters and cocktails all afternoon long.
Take it up a notch with the LouLou Bubbly Free Flow Champagne & Oysters Brunch (S$68), which gets you champagne instead of prosecco. Fancy.

But of course, if you’re the sort who’s just there for the booze (there’s always one in every friend group), you can enjoy free-flow cocktails and prosecco (sans the oysters) at S$25, and see how many glasses of Mimosa or Bellini you can down.

If you’re tackling the oysters in a group, other menu items to consider include the Mediterranean Board (from S$38 for 1–2 pax), a charcuterie-style platter with homemade aioli, anchoiade, eggplant caviar, Iberico ham, comte cheese, marinated goat cheese, crudités, and duck rillettes served with French baguette.
Alternatively, the Seafood Tower (from S$75) is layered with scallops, tiger prawns, mussels, trout gravlax, and even more oysters if you’d like the ultimate seafood experience.

All I can say is that I’m so glad oysters exist.
