This pop-up festival has over 70 vendors selling vintage apparel, handmade jewellery, tarot reading and more

Looking for something special to do during the weekend? I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need a fresh pace of exploring different places around our little red dot. And it is just perfect timing that the Mercury Festival is right around the corner!

Stretching across three full days from 8 to 10 December 2023, Mercury Festival will be held at Shoushan Art Space, just a stone’s throw away from Marymount MRT. That means you get plenty of time to explore all the booth vendors that have been specially handpicked and chosen to be part of this pop-up festival.

Aptly named Mercury Festival: The Astraios where astraios is a Greek word for stars, this festival will host more than 70 vendors over the course of three days. If you’re a fan of indie vintage apparel, unique handcrafted jewellery and everything else in between like me, I’m sure the line-up of vendors for Mercury Festival will be up your alley!

Most of these vendors featured all started out on Instagram and now, you’ll finally be able to shop their goods in person as they get the special opportunity to showcase their beautiful crafts and services via pop-up booths at the Mercury Festival.

If you’re interested in handcrafted accessories such as bracelets and necklaces, vendors like heartberrypie and cctaffy are worth checking out due to their fairycore aesthetic of crafts.

Those who prefer a more rustic design to their accessories can check out vendors like xms_store who weave more dark and woody accessories to match your vintage outfit.

What are accessories you don’t have the right outfit to pair it with? Worry not, for there will be plenty of booth vendors selling clothes such as vintage streetwear, fairycore, and Y2K clothing amongst others.

Fashion vendors like woofie.co — specialising in curated vintage and Y2K fits — and chubz_apparel — hosting a huge collection of Hawaiian shirts and other islandcore apparel — are some of the pop-ups you can look out for.

Now that you have already gotten a selection of clothes and accessories, how about getting your nails done too! Some of you might be familiar with qquirkynails for their press-on nail designs and they will also be one of the vendors at Mercury Festival!

Of course, with the number of vendors present at the Mercury Festival, there are others who sell crafts such as handmade candles, scents, painting and illustrations, clay pottery, and even resin.

Browse through a wide selection of crystals from mei.crystalssg’s vast collection, from rose quartz to amethyst. While you’re there, don’t miss out on getting your temporary tattoo done by inkrange or jynk.ink.

With all these excitement and vendors, it almost seems like three days is just not enough for this Mercury Festival!

So mark your calendars for 8 Dec to 10 Dec! I am most thrilled to browse through the many apparel vendors and maybe get a temporary tattoo or two of my own.

Are you excited to get your Christmas gift shopping this weekend with the Mercury Festival?
