Rise up, gamers! Nintendo is opening its first pop-up store in Southeast Asia right here in Singapore, bringing in exclusive merchandise that were only available in Nintendo Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto stores!

The Nintendo Pop-up Store will welcome gamers from 17 November to 1 January 2024 on Level 4 of Jewel Changi Airport. I am so ready to grab collectibles of Link. Of course, not only is there Legend of Zelda merch, but there’s also going to be crowd favourites like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Splatoon and more!

There are no exact details on the products that will be available at the time of writing, but we can expect to see merchandise like home decor (did you see that cute pikmin vase?!), t-shirts, bags, stationery, crockery and illustrations.

The Nintendo pop-up store will also release six exclusively designed postcards for us fans in Singapore. Spend S$80 or more in a single transaction at the store and you can receive one of the limited-edition postcards randomly, while stocks last.

Mark this special event by checking into your Nintendo Account through the QR code displayed on-site, and you’ll be able to receive a special sticker featuring various Nintendo characters like Ganondorf and Yoshi! There are 18 designs available, and users can check in once a day. Here’s to wishing you good luck in collecting them all — the stickers are issued at random, and while stocks last.

There’s another surprise under the wraps. Jewel Changi is collaborating with Super Mario for a “PIPE AROUND THE WORLD” campaign. More details about the campaign will be released closer to the opening date of the pop-up store, but I’ll be letting my imagination run wild in the meantime. Is this the chance for us to finally experience travelling through Mario’s green warp pipes?

If this pop-up store performs well, we might even be able to entertain the idea of an official Nintendo Singapore store opening on our shores. Well, for now, let’s just keep our eyes glued on the official website for more details.
