Horror fans, you now have the opportunity to experience what the famous Ed and Lorraine Warren had gone through as they battled demons and evil spirits.
Of course, there are no actual demons around or else you can kiss your life goodbye. However, you’ll get a pretty realistic experience at this immersive exhibition that recently opened at ICONSIAM in Bangkok.
‘The Conjuring Universe Tour’ needs no introduction as they’re based on the most successful and highest-grossing horror franchise of all time.
Since Halloween is around the corner, there’s no better time than now to pay the legendary Annabelle doll and Valak the nun a visit.
Until 5 January 2025, gather your bravest friends (or a few expendable ones for sacrificial purposes) and dive headfirst into the chilling world of The Conjuring.
There are a total of 20 explorative areas, each one promising to make your heart race like never before. And, yes, all these areas are recreated sets modelled after the iconic scenes of The Conjuring movies.
Whether it be exploring the Warren’s Artefact Room (where Annabelle is held!) or roaming around the haunted Carta Monastery, these places are sure to trigger nostalgia (or should I say, nightmares?).
You’ll also come face-to-face with the towering five-metre tree from the Perron’s farmhouse, straight out of the first film. You know, the one where the witch Bathsheba hung herself?
In The Nun, you’ll be in the shoes of Janet as cross signs displayed throughout the room turn upside down — a sign of something evil lurking around.
From what I’ve seen, there should be no jumpscares but don’t take my word for it. Who knows? I might just be saying this to put your guard down (I’m evil too, I know).
Like with most exhibitions, a retail shop filled with event-exclusive merchandise awaits you at the end of the tour.
The guided tour is rolled out in various sessions, each welcoming around 20 to 30 thrill seekers. As it’s on a first-come-first-served basis, you might wanna embrace your kiasu side and be the first in the queue.
