It’s been a hot minute since we last talked about a cat cafe in Singapore. But this newest addition to the scene definitely takes the cake for the most unique concept. Read on and you’ll know why.
A.K Zai Meow Cafe is the newest cat cafe in Singapore and is located along Smith Street. And for those of you who might find the name vaguely familiar, that’s because the cat cafe is managed by the same folks behind A.K Zai Lok Lok.
In other words, you’ll get to enjoy lok lok, hotpot, cocktails, and now cat cuddles! We weren’t lying about the unique concept right?
A.K Zai Meow Cafe is on the second floor of the building and is home to 10 adorable kitties with insanely witty names like Rambutan, Coconut and Mushroom.
Once you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the friendly cats, eagerly waiting for your pats and cuddles. There’s also toys around the space for you to use to play with the cats.
Each session at A.K Meow Cafe costs S$9 per person per hour on weekdays and S$12 on weekends, and it’ll also include unlimited drinks!
There’s even work stations set up with a pretty decent view, for those looking to change up your work-from-home set up. Plus, there’s free Wi-Fi here too, so why not come down and work alongside these kitties?
Although, we can’t promise that you’ll be able to get any real work done with these adorable cats casually lounging around.
A.K Zai Lok Lok is also bringing back their iconic lok lok buffet which entitles you to an all-you-can-eat spread of skewers from just S$19.90!
The sumptuous buffet spread really gives you a real bang for your buck with over 40 varieties of Malaysian-style lok lok skewers including crowd favourites like cheese tofu, enoki wrapped with bacon, luncheon meat, and bak kwa amongst others.
You can’t have lok lok without pairing it with some sauces and here, you’ll get to pair your skewers with 10 different sauces ranging from house-made chilli sauce to Thai-style chilli and more. You’re definitely in for a spicy good time here.
To make things even better, A.K Zai is also offering S$10 soup bases — who can say no to that? The choices include tom yum, tomato, satay, laksa, pork broth and more. Can’t choose which to get? Get two soup bases for just S$15!
To make your lok lok experience even better, A.K Zai also has regular alcohol promotions like 1-for-1 cocktails, ladies night and more!
I don’t know about you but I will never say no to lok lok, and now that they have a cat cafe located just upstairs, I definitely have to visit them now.
