Babanana Crafts in Johor Bahru has quirky stationery and trinkets including vegetable-themed keychains, Sanrio merch, cute accessories & more

Just a stone’s throw away, Babanana Crafts is a literal paradise for all the stationery collectors out there. 

If you have heard of Daddy and The Muscle Academy in Bangkok, this quaint but vibrant store carries similar vibes and is just conveniently located across the border. 

Decked out in bear decals and soft pastels, they have everything you’d ever need — think stickers, plushies, keychains, notebooks, clothes, hair accessories and so much more.

Spruce up your bag or table with their endless collection of quirky vegetable keychains. 

You’ll find them tucked away in a corner of the shop, packaged just like how you’d shop for fresh produce in a wet market (how adorable!). They have all kinds of unique vegetables including eggplant, green onion, chilli, ginger, and broccoli. 

Maybe if you gifted this to your non-veggie lover friends, they might start liking it more (or so we hope). Otherwise, there are a lot more other themed keychains like Toy Story and Spongebob up for grabs as well.

Besides that, Babanana Crafts seems to be into the Japanese aesthetic as they have merchandise from well-loved franchises including Sanrio and Chiikawa.

Get the Sanrio water bottles to match with your friends — tell me if I’m wrong, but every friend group has someone who gives off either a My Melody or Kuromi personality.
