If you’re not in the know, Netflix’s hit series, Emily In Paris, (how have you not watched it?) has put Balloon Museum on the map. Since its debut in Rome in 2020, the museum has redefined art as a whimsical, immersive playground where air steals the show as the creative medium.

Now, it’s your turn to get swept away by Pop Air: Art is Inflatable exhibition coming to Singapore from 13 June 2025 to 31 August 2025

Here’s a sneak peek into the air-filled wonderland:

Cyril Lancelin brings his signature piece, Knot, a maze-like, brightly coloured inflatable inspired by clover knots. You’ll also get to wander through this masterpiece (don’t get lost here, please).

POLYHEADRA by Karina Smigla – Bobinski uses PVC tubes and magnetic rings in an interactive exploration of geometric shapes.

Hypercosmo by Hyperstudio spans an incredible 1,000 square metres with latex balloons, kinetic lights, and trippy video projections (lowkey reminds admin of a rave). It’s a dreamscape where nature, technology, and humanity collide.

And that’s just the beginning.

Other notable artists include ENESS, Plastique Fantastique, Pneuhaus, Filthy Luker, Jimmy Kuehnle, and many more, who will knock the air out of your lungs.

This isn’t just for the art connoisseurs. It’s also a family-friendly adventure where kids can touch, play, and interact with the installations. The museum also provides a range of educational resources and programs, so your kids might just leave as art critics.

The museum will also feature a video gallery tracing the history of Inflatable Art from early experiments by the Montgolfier brothers to contemporary icons like Jeff Koons’ Balloon Dog.

Ticket prices aren’t out yet, but early birds can sign up for first dibs and a 50% discount when sales open. Don’t let this opportunity deflate in front of your eyes!

Will you be floating over to this magical inflatable world?
