While time for Tom’s Palette is running out, the Singaporean gelataria is not going out in despair, but in celebration. The brand’s spokesperson Faith Yap shared that the brand will be bringing back its most beloved flavours every week in an Encore Collection.

Encore Collection

From now until the end of Tom’s Palette’s operations, three flavours are expected to be released each week on Tuesday. These flavours are limited-time classics that customers have highly requested to make a return, and will be available for pre-orders in pints.

The same flavours will also come to Tom’s Palette’s storefronts, available in the usual cups and cones in limited quantities. For details on all the flavours dropping in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned to Tom’s Palette’s website and socials.

Keep reading to find out what flavours we are looking out for, including some we will sorely miss. If you’ve ever been to Tom’s Palette, some of these will sound familiar.

Legendary Flavours

From 11 to 23 August 2026, the theme is Chocolate. Of these three, we are looking forward most to Nasty Mix — a combination of salted chocolate gelato, caramelised peanut butter, and pretzels. For those of you who love a scoop that is rich in flavour, or something reminiscent of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or a Snickers bar, don’t miss out on this one.

After the chocolate-themed week, Tom’s Palette shines the spotlight on Local flavours. And of course, we have to talk about Pi Pa Gao. Who would have thought that a Chinese medicinal cough syrup could work well as a gelato flavour? As ironic as it sounds, this is one to remember for the ages. We’re definitely getting a scoop of this before it disappears.

Local, Part Two, is probably the one we are most looking forward to. All three flavours here are legendary, but Salted Egg Yolk and Soya Bean Youtiao are simply iconic. One is a popular, savoury flavour inspired by Liu Sha Bao (Molten Salted Egg Yolk Buns) that has been around for 15 years.

The other is one of our personal favourites that recreates a classic pairing in gelato form — soya bean and fried dough fritters. Both are absolute must-tries.

Is there any other fruit that better represents Singapore than Durian? Available from 22 September 2026 to 4 October 2026, the Mao Shan Wang flavour returns, bringing that instantly recognisable thickness, creaminess, and bittersweetness. This is the perfect flavour for all you durian lovers.

Based on Tom’s Palette’s website, the final three flavours to be released as part of the Encore Collection will be Halloween-themed. At the time of writing, these flavours have yet to be revealed, but we know it will launch on 6 October 2026 and last till the establishment’s closing.

End of a 21-year Era

The announcement of Tom’s Palette’s closure came through the brand’s Facebook and Instagram pages, where Yap shared about the struggles of sustaining two gelato outlets amidst rising costs and in an industry where customers only show up “for three hours out of the day”.

The post has since garnered much support from loyal customers, who expressed both their disappointment about the closure and gratitude for the store being a spot where fond memories were made.

Whether you are a longtime fan of Tom’s Palette or not, drop by one of their two outlets at Bugis and Kovan and show them some love while you still can! As Yap shared in her video, let’s “make the best out of our time that we have left together.”

The brand certainly does not seem to be slowing down, though, as they have also just launched a limited-time pop-up experience on 7 August 2026, bringing the love for tea beyond humans to our furry friends.

The CHAGEE Pet Adventure Camp is a pet-friendly space located outside Mandarin Gallery at Orchard Road, bringing together exclusive merchandise, fragrant tea flavours, and adorable moments with your furry companions. This Pop-Up Tea Experience is open daily from 7 August 2026 to 30 October 2026.

Pop-Up Store Exclusives

The Pet Pin Bundle (S$12.80) is merchandise you can only find at the CHAGEE Pet Adventure Camp, and comes with two large drinks and one Pet Pin with a design of your choice. If you’re looking to collect all five available designs, you would have to make a few purchases while stocks last. 

Note that these pins, as well as the pet-themed Paw Tumblers (S$36.90 Bundle), are only available for purchase in their respective bundle sets. The drinks included in these bundles are limited to the BO•YA Jasmine Green Fresh Milk Tea, Da Hong Pao Fresh Milk Tea, Peach Oolong Fresh Milk Tea, Lemon Jasmine Green Fruit Tea, and Lemon Da Hong Pao Fruit Tea.

Monthly Designs

For the Paws Tumblers, new designs will be released every month, from now till the end of the pop-up on 30 October 2026. The same also applies to the Paws Toiletry Bag. Designs for both items will be replaced with new ones on 4 September 2026 and 2 October 2026.

Make sure to check CHAGEE’s social media channels for a preview of all available designs, so that you don’t miss the ones you want.

For Outdoor Adventures

Other noteworthy items you might want to snag are perfect for outdoor adventures with your pets. If you’re a pet owner who is constantly on the go with your fur-babies, consider getting a new Picnic Mat (S$39.90) or a Foldable Chair (S$55). These items are not just practical but also feature cute designs in Blue and Pink.

A Space for Paw-Rents & Tea Lovers

Whether you are a CHA Seeker, CHA Explorer, CHA Pioneer or CHA Master, or just a paw-rent looking to make fun memories with your fur-kids, the CHAGEE Pet Adventure Camp is the perfect getaway.

Legally Blonde – The Musical

Based on the novel and film of the same name, Legally Blonde – The Musical, takes audiences into the story of Elle Woods, an unapologetically stylish and confident girl on her journey through law school. 

This beloved tale about beating stereotypes, finding friendships, and believing in oneself, became an instant classic in the early 2000s. Now, through this musical, it has been given a modern reimagining, complete with high-energy songs, exciting choreography, peak humour, and more pink. 

What makes the Singapore run of this musical extra special is that it stars Singaporean West End star Nathania Ong as the main character, and other local actors and singers in supporting roles. Nathania has been celebrated in recent years for playing roles in the West End productions of Les Misérables and Hamilton.

Her take on the fearless new Elle Woods, alongside performances by other local talents like Nathan Hartono, Pierre Png, and more, will surely be worth catching — especially if you love musicals.

Super 24 2026

If you are especially into dance music, choreography, and competitions, this is the event for you. Super 24 makes a return on 29 & 30 August 2026, bringing dance battles to the centre stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. 

For the uninitiated, Super 24 is Asia’s largest mega crew dance competition where teams of 24 dancers battle it out on a square stage. As the stage has no fixed front, these dancers are evaluated by judges from all four sides.

President’s Young Performers Concert

The annual President’s Young Performers Concert is returning to the Victoria Concert Hall on 12 September 2026. Organised by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, this annual event showcases some of our nation’s brightest young classical musicians. 

Not only will you be watching a performance by the national orchestra, but you will also get to celebrate and witness the rise of three emerging classical music talents. The entire programme, which spans 1 hr 50 mins (including a 20-minute intermission), will be conducted by Jason Lai and feature bassoonist Shi Jia Ao, soprano Natasha Da Costa, and violinist Kaelyn Soh, alongside the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Baybeats 2026

Fans of indie rock and alternative music, unite! From 3 to 6 September 2026, Baybeats 2026 will take place at locations around Esplanade, shining light on independent bands and musicians from Singapore, the region, and beyond.

Baybeats is the biggest alternative music festival in Singapore, and is celebrating its 25th edition this year, featuring 47 bands across five stages, and over four days. Witness emerging acts and international artists, as they take the stage and give everyone a rocking good time.

Candlelight Concerts

For those of you looking for a romantic, musical night, or just simply want to wind down under the soft glow of warm lights and a cozy atmosphere, you have to attend a Candlelight Concert.

These concerts, which take place on selected nights at locations such as The Arts House and CHIJMES Hall, feature string quartets performing their renditions of recognisable soundtracks and hits. 

Candlelight: The World of Joe Hisaishi, for example, features the famous composer’s works from Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle. The old-school coffeeshop and confectionery has become a local breakfast spot for generations, creating a heritage that spans 101 years. For a century, Chin Mee Chin had only one outlet — that is — until it recently started a new chapter with its second outlet ever.

Chin Mee Chin opened its doors at NEX on 8 August 2026, bringing their classic Singaporean breakfast to Serangoon. Whatever is available at Katong can also be found here. From classic Toast Sets (S$6.50) to familiar fresh bakes like the Otah Bun (S$2.80), North-Easties will now be able to experience the same flavours the century-old bakery was built on.

However, there are also new items to explore on Chin Mee Chin’s menu at NEX. This includes the Curry Potato Pie (S$3.80), Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken Cutlet (S$10.80), and Grilled Kaffir Lime Chicken Sandwich (S$8.80).

The Kaya Custard Choux au Craquelin, filled with the confectionery’s signature house-made kaya custard, and the Dark Chocolate Choux au Craquelin, both add to the dessert selection at S$3 per piece, or at S$10 for a box of four.

And of course — you can’t have a complete meal at Chin Mee Chin without ordering a cup of coffee. Beyond the usual kopi and teh choices, diners can also look forward to beverages such as the Kaya Cloud Kopi (S$5.50) and Salted Gula Melaka Cloud Kopi (S$5.50). 

If you live in Serangoon, or often pass by NEX, you now have another breakfast and all-day kopitiam option. The new space also pays homage to the original outlet at Katong through its interiors and decorations, transporting you to a time-honoured shophouse experience without leaving the shopping mall.

For those of you with an artistic side, you can also explore the IN-BETWEEN Exhibition Marketplace at New Bahru’s School Hall at Level 2. Starting a day earlier on 28 August 2026, this is a three-day creative playground featuring over 50 designers, artists and makers.

This is not just your traditional art market, but one where live performances, interactive experiences, and experimental showcases collide.
