Creme De La Creme in Kuala Lumpur has transformed into an IG-worthy Minions-themed cafe with Minion desserts, ice cream & more

With the release of the new Minions movie, it’s time to once again say bello to all things cute, yellow, and Minion-themed. If you (or any kids in your life) are a fan of the adorable yellow creatures, this Minion-themed cafe in Kuala Lumpur might just be worth taking a trip there.

In celebration of the new Minions film, Creme De La Creme has transformed its cosy space into a Minions-themed cafe, complete with Minion desserts, ice cream, decor, and more.

Shaped like the adorable Minions, the desserts here are almost too cute to eat. Take one bite though, and the decadent flavours will soon have you finishing the whole thing.

If your favourite Minion is the newly introduced Otto from the latest film, try the Bello Otto!, a petit gateau that looks just like the chatty, lovable character. It perfectly pairs brown butter ice cream, pandan ice cream, and coffee ice cream with banana, brownie, spice crumble, and white chocolate dip to create a dessert that’s as delicious as it is cute.

Otto’s taller counterpart, Kevin, also has his own dessert — the Bello Kevin!. The petit gateau consists of coconut ice cream, passion sorbet, and kedondong assam sorbet, together with mango, almond crumble, and white chocolate dip for a refreshing twist.

You’ll also find various other desserts, including the Me Want Banana!, a banana and cherry flavoured petit gateau made to look like a real banana, as well as the Tara, tropa!, a Minion-shaped dessert with banana chocolate ice cream, passionfruit sorbet, and salted butterscotch.

The cafe specialises in artisanal ice cream, so you can definitely expect to find several Minion-themed flavours within their ice cream offerings too.

And if you like your ice cream rich, the Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana consists of French dark chocolate ice cream swirled with caramelised bananas, butterscotch, and cookie crumble. Or, for something lighter, try the Bee Do Bee do Bee Do, a refreshing sorbet made with mangoes, pineapples, and papayas.

And it’s not just the food that’s Minion-themed. The cafe, too, is completely decked out in Minion decor, with the walls, tables, and doors all plastered with huge images of the adorable yellow creatures — the perfect place to dig into your Minion-themed desserts!
