Fantastic beasts and where to find them?

Well, you’ll now be able to find them lingering on our sunny shores of Sentosa! Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and more will be making an appearance at the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience in Singapore.

Potterheads, time to get your wands, robes and broomsticks ready!

The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience was previously only available in the US and UK (of course). This is the first time the Forbidden Forest Experience is taking place in Asia and Singapore is the first stop — yay us! Tickets are already on sale and are selling out fast so make sure to grab your tickets ASAP before they’re all sold out.

Sentosa’s Coastal Trail has been transformed into the iconic and magical Forbidden Forest. If you’ve seen the pics from previous runs of the event, you can expect plenty of vibrant lights to illuminate the forest. There’ll also be plenty of pretty photo spots and opportunities for you to use your magic wands to light up certain parts of the forest trail.

As self-proclaimed Harry Potter fans ourselves, of course we had to come dressed in our wizarding robes and costumes to add on to the vibes. Just make sure to bring along your wands and phones to make your time in this forbidden forest even more magical. Besides, you never know when they might come in handy.

You might wanna keep your eyes open during the trail as you might just be able to spot some familiar looking creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series. Think: Hippogriffs, Nifflers, and of course, magical Unicorns.

One of my favourite characters from the popular series, Hagrid, will also be there along with his boarhound fang pup.

Hagrid’s half-brother, Grawp, will also be hiding somewhere along the trail so make sure to keep a look out for him.

Along the way, you’ll also get to meet the iconic Hippogriff. This one got me super excited because you get to do a full meet and greet with the mythical creature. And, if you bow, the Hippogriff might just bow back. Definitely a must to stop by.

No Harry Potter attraction is complete without the iconic flying car that crashed into the Whomping Willow. We reckon many people will be taking pics with this car. I hope you don’t have a fear of spiders as at this part of the trail, you’ll be faced with many spiders (some of which might actually be real). They might even jump out from the bushes — so consider yourself warned.

Potterheads can experience what it’s like to be a wizard for a day as you raise your wands for a wand duel or maybe even try your hand at casting a Patronus spell to illuminate the dark woods. Each time you cast the Patronus spell, a random creature will appear. Not to flex but we got the legendary rare phoenix, so try topping that!

You’re gonna need some sustenance to keep you energised during your walk. If you’ve ever been to the Wizarding World attractions overseas, you might be familiar with the signature Butterbeer (S$14). The sweet butterscotch-flavoured drink is available here for you to chug down. But be warned, it is super sweet so if you don’t have a sweet tooth, you might wanna give this a miss.

Instead, go for the other drinks like the Signature Mocktail Colovaria Cooler (S$12) which is a zesty and tangy concoction that will certainly keep you refreshed after your forest expedition.

Sticking to the Hogwarts theme, you can get your respective house drinks like Gryffindor (S$14), Hufflepuff (S$14), Ravenclaw (S$14), and Slytherin (S$14).

There’s also Chargrilled Chicken Wings in unique flavours like Hogwarts Delight (S$15), Sorcerer’s Secret Sauce (S$15), Ogden’s Old Firewhisky BBQ Sauce (S$15) as well as cakes like the Chocolate Frog Cake (S$12), the Forbidden Forest Caramel Fudge Cake (S$14) and so much more!

After you’re done taking all your magical pics for the gram, don’t forget to stop by the gift store to pick up some exclusive Harry Potter merch to make your time here complete.

The trail is open to wizards, witches and Muggles of all ages, so hurry and reserve your tickets here now!
