Kings Cart Coffee Factory opens relaxing cafe at Bishan Library so muggers can enjoy brunch food and coffee from S$4

If you’re the type who likes to plop your stuff down at a library and just study or do work for hours, this new cafe at Bishan Library might pique your interest — the quaint new outlet of Kings Cart Coffee Factory.

So whenever you’re in the mood to go down for some productive time and end up dying more than studying, you can take a quick break and treat yourself to some of the indulgent brunch food or perk yourself up with one of their affordable cups of coffee that start from S$4.

With their first popular outlet in Katong, this new outlet will be located much more accessibly in the central area of Bishan. With not many cafe options in the hood, unless you head down to the neighbouring Upper Thomson, Bishan residents will be happy with this new spot to get some brunch.

Kings Cart Coffee Factory is most popular for is their coffee — they’ve got plenty of robust brews that you can down to up your productivity including Long Blacks (S$4), Macchiatos (S$4), Whites (S$5/6oz, $6/8oz) and Dirty Matcha Lattes (S$7.50) for those who enjoy the Japanese tea with a bit more caffeine.

And if you haven’t been to Kings Cart Coffee Factory before, one of the must-orders, when you head down to Bishan, is their unique Coconut Cold Brew (S$9) where you mix in cold brew concentrate into coconut water and coconut flesh for a refreshing hit.

If you’re not there for coffee and just want some nice brunch food to unwind from a hard day of work, there are some classics such as hearty Scrambled Eggs on Toast (S$11) and creamy Mentaiko Fries (S$12) to satiate any brunch food cravings.

Pancake lovers can also get some of Kings Cart’s fluffy Souffle Pancakes — you can choose between the Classic (S$15.90), cocoa-dusted Tiramisu (S$18.90) or the fragrant Matcha (S$18.90).

They also have cakes and pastries for a simple and light pairing with your cuppa, with some interesting flavours such as Honey Sweet Potato Cake, priced at S$9 a slice.
