Finally. As a huge foodie (especially of South Korean cuisine), this is the best piece of news that I’ve heard for the month. If you haven’t already heard, South Korea’s leading burger chain Lotteria is landing in our Little Red Dot!
Katrina Group, a Singapore food and beverage (F&B) and hospitality group, has partnered with Lotte GRS to bring the brand to our sunny shores. As a well-loved fast food chain in Asia, Lotteria has established itself as one that offers seasonal and localised menus to capture its consumers’ hearts.
Psst, it also seems like they are planning to open their first store in Singapore in the second quarter of 2025 and expand to other parts afterward (Admin hopes they come to the North.)
For me, other than their standard fast food line such as burgers, fried chicken, fries, and more, I am rather more interested in the localised menu items they will introduce to Singapore. For example, they rolled out teriyaki burgers for Japan, banh mi-inspired burgers for Vietnam, Jeonju Bibim Rice burgers for Korea, and the list goes on.
Hm, I wonder what kind of interesting menu would they come up with for Singapore?
As I can’t live without spice, one menu item I dearly hope to see includes the Buldak collaboration released in Vietnam. Since the menu for Singapore has not been released yet, are there any food items you are hoping to spot?
Lotteria currently has more than 1,600 stores across seven countries including Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and South Korea. This entry into the Singapore market will mark their eighth.
Thankfully, there is no longer any need for me to hop on a plane to Seoul to try out Lotteria. Will you be one of the first to queue when Lotteria comes to Singapore?
This article will be updated with more information in time to come.
