Look up “affordable beef wellington in Singapore” and you’ll instantly come across Meet 4 Meat, a familiar name for Easties and meat lovers alike.

Founded by two chefs with decades of experience working in steakhouses and restaurants, the humble hawker stall has been serving up affordable gourmet meats in Brunners Coffeeshop along East Coast Road (Katong) since 2018, and they’re still going strong!

Although the a la carte menu is packed with enticing options like steaks, fish & chips, pasta, and of course, the iconic Beef Wellington (U.P. S$35), Meet 4 Meat has launched a limited-time Value Combo Set (S$75) that’ll give you the most bang for your buck.
It’s essentially a huge platter with an array of meats and sides that can easily feed two (or three).

Priced at S$75 nett (yay, no GST!), the Value Combo Set comprises:
- 100g Beef Wellington (x2)
- Pork Tomahawk or Argentina Ribeye
- Chicken Chop or Chicken Wings
- Fried Prawn Rolls
- 300g Fries or Dutch Potato (x2)
You won’t be able to choose your preferred protein — it depends on what’s available that day.

Instead of the usual beef tomahawk, the Pork Tomahawk (U.P. S$32), paired with bittersweet bacon and pomelo relish, consists of a juicy 300g bone-in USA Sakura pork. Be sure to enjoy it as soon as the platter is served!

Next, tuck into the two mini Beef Wellingtons (so you and your dining partner won’t need to share). 100g of Australian tenderloin coated with mushroom duxelles, wrapped in puff pastry and cooked till a gorgeous medium rare — it certainly lives up to its reputation of being the most raved-about budget-friendly beef wellington in town.

The charcoal-grilled Chicken Chop (U.P S$9.50), slathered in a creamy mushroom sauce, was also pretty darn good — juicy, tender, and succulent, with a thick, nicely charred layer of skin.

Instead of fries, we opted for the Dutch Potato, two fluffy baked potatoes topped with a pat of herb butter, which was extremely filling yet satisfying to eat.

Once again, this Value Combo Set will be available for a limited time only, so do grab a friend for a good ol’ evening of grilled meats before it gets taken off the menu!
