When it comes to getting treats from old-school bakeries, there aren’t many places more popular than Rich and Good Cake Shop, famous for their fluffy Swiss Roll Cakes.
However, when the current P2HA measures kicked in, they had to get in with the online delivery trend. That’s why they launched a Rich and Good Cake Shop website where you can place an order for delivery.
Fans of their Swiss Rolls should be over the moon now that they can skip the queue and get in in the comfort of home. It shows — because the delivery slots were taken up in a flash
All of their delivery slots have been snatched up and the website is displaying “unavailable” status for all of them. But Rich and Good Cake Shop stated that delivery slots are opened one week in advance, so you still have your chance!
But if you’re one of those who haven’t heard of Rich and Good Cake Shop, they are a bakery that has been operating for over 2 decades out of a small shophouse unit in the Kampong Glam area.
In pre-covid times, there would normally be queues and fans would come early to buy them out of their popular items like the Kaya and Durian Swiss Rolls.
The queue situation was even more ridiculous when they opened at Jewel Changi in 2019 where they were constantly sold out.
If you want to see what the hype is about yourself you can place an order for delivery for some of Rich and Good Cake Shop’s signatures swiss rolls which include some signature flavours like their rich Kaya (S$9.35), Durian (S$9.35) made from real D24, and classic Chocolate (S$8.42).
Other flavours include Mango, Red Velvet, Green Tea, Coffee, and even Blueberry. Check out the entire list of flavours on their website.
Rich and Good Cake Shop’s delivery service will only be available on Monday to Saturday, between 10am to 6pm. A delivery fee between S$10 to S$15 will be charged based on location. There is also a minimum order of 5 rolls for delivery.
