Race into 2024 with this pop-up go karting rink at Marina Bay with a 480m-long track, food stalls & more taking place for two weeks only

We’re just a couple of days away from the end of 2023. Boy did this year race by or what?

Why not end the year with a bang (no pun intended) with TurboCharged, the first-ever go karting circuit at Marina Bay? There’s no better way to commemorate what a wild ride 2023 has been than with this!

TurboCharged by KF1 will be at Marina Bay from now until 31 December 2023 and features a 480-metres long track with 12 sharp twists and turns that will send you drifting and give you that boost of adrenaline — kinda like the curveballs that the year threw at us that sent us into a frenzy.

The track is open for both experienced racers and novice riders with 10-minute rides starting from just S$35 per person. We reckon 10 minutes should be enough to get your blood pumping.

There’s also a 30-minute ride from S$45 per person that lets you go for countless rounds around the track to your heart’s content. As a die-hard go kart lover, I won’t judge you for choosing the 30-minute package because I would totally do the same.

In case you’re wondering, you don’t need to have a drivers’ licence for the Novice rides — which is great for all the passenger princesses looking to experience what getting behind the wheel feels like. However, you will need to have one if you’re going for the Advanced ride.

You’ll also need to be at least 1.4-metres tall in order to ride the kart. If you’re planning to hop on the ride, make sure you’re wearing covered shoes which are a must. Hair nets and helmets will be provided by KF1, but of course, if you’re a pro and have your own helmet, you’re welcome to use it as well.

Tickets-wise, you can get your tickets here or at the ticket counter on the actual day. Pro tip: If you’re going with your family or a group of friends, we strongly recommend booking your tickets online to avoid disappointment.

After emptying your fuel tank on the track, it’s time to refuel! Thankfully, there are F&B stalls available onsite for you to grab a bite. They have a wide variety of food like Taiwanese street snacks, Thai food, sweet and savoury crepes, and more.

Oh and before we forget, you can enjoy S$10 off F&B treats with every ride on Mondays to Thursdays before 5pm, or S$5 off for rides at other timings — talk about a good deal indeed.

If you’re in need of some cooling down, you can hop over to Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland 2023! The snowy winter wonderland will definitely keep you cool. Plus, you can get your revenge on the winner of the race by throwing snowballs at them (just an idea)

Do you have what it takes to win the race?
