If you’re a Singaporean who loves crossing the border to shop, here’s some good news. Travelling to Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) just got easier!
Causeway Link has launched two new direct bus services, JPO2 and JPO3, which will take you straight to the mall from Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.
Since 16 January 2025, Causeway Link has been operating two new cross-border routes: JPO2 from CIQ 1st Link at Woodlands Checkpoint, and JPO3 from CIQ 2nd Link at Tuas Checkpoint.
This means you no longer have to rely on ride-hailing services in Johor Bahru. Just hop on these buses for a seamless journey!
Both buses take about 45 minutes to reach JPO, depending on traffic.
JPO2 departs from CIQ 1st Link at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm. And, JPO2 will make their return at 11am, 2pm, 5pm, and 8pm.
So be sure to keep track of the timing.
Whereas, JPO3 will return from JPO at 10.30am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm, and 7.30pm. The departure timing for JPO3 is the same but from C1Q 2nd Link.
A one-way trip on the JPO2 bus will come to RM4.50 (S$1.36), while a one-way ticket on the JPO3 bus will amount to RM6 (S$1.82). Visa, Manjalink Card, and cash payments are accepted.
At the moment, there are still no options to pre-book your tickets online.
First, visitors would need to clear immigration at either Woodlands or Tuas Checkpoints, then head to the designated Causeway Link bus bay and board the JPO2 or JPO3 bus. After arriving at the Malaysia side, clear immigration and board the same bus.
Then, present your physical ticket or tap the same card you used to board.
Also, the buses are electric and equipped with USB charging ports, making your ride more convenient.
