Ahh… Pepper Lunch. What’s not to love when you get to cook your very own meats with delicious in-house sauces on sizzling hotplates? Add to that affordable prices and easy access, and it’s no surprise they’re a go-to for everyone — from students to working folks like me!
As such, when I heard Pepper Lunch had upgraded their former stall at NEX’s food court to a proper outlet, I simply had to pay a visit to their new site. As expected, the space is bright and inviting, with ample seating that’ll no doubt come in handy during lunchtime or dinner rush.
Whether you’re living in the area or just passing by, do yourself a favour and pop by this specific Pepper Lunch outpost from now till 30 October 2024. The reason? They’re running a promotion that’s too good to miss.
For starters, their crowd-favourite Striploin Steak is going for just S$16.90 instead of S$23.80, and that includes a drink and a bowl of rice. The steak is topped with butter and accompanied by sweet corn, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and broccoli.
While the dish comes with a special sauce on the side, we preferred sticking to the classic Pepper Lunch way by pouring their signature sauces — Honey Soy and Garlic Soy — into the hotplate.
Do note that the Striploin Steak is an outlet-exclusive promotion. However, there’s a deal available island-wide, which is their Jumbo Beef Pepper Rice with a drink of your choice going for just S$14.90.
