If you say Ya Kun Kaya Toast, you may just be right, since they managed to snag up a collaboration with the world’s second-largest sportswear brand — Adidas.
When it comes to wacky and unexpected collaborations, this is definitely high on the list.
This limited-edition Adidas x Ya Kun Kaya Toast: Raise A Toast! collection, launched just in time for Singapore’s 59th birthday, presents a selection of graphic tees, MakerLab shoe charms and enamel pins.
The MakerLab shoe charms and enamel pins are particularly cute as they’re designed after Ya Kun’s iconic Set A.
To refresh your memory, that includes a kaya butter toast, soft-boiled eggs and a cup of hot kopi. You can also “change” your set by opting for the iced tea.
Want something cosy to snuggle up to for work, travelling or simply lounging around the house? There’s the unisex graphic hoodie. It can’t be found in-store as it’s only available on the Ya Kun Cherish app, so that’s your sign to download.
Price-wise, the vinyl heat-press graphic tees are going from S$59, whereas the shoe charms and enamel pins are priced from S$10.
That’s not all to the collection. From 3 August 2024, you can redeem a traditional Tin Lunch Box or Enamel Mug as long as you hit a minimum spend of S$159 for the former or S$120 for the latter.
Likewise, adiClub members can exchange 5,900 points for the lunch box or 3,500 points for the mug. Do note that point redemptions only occur from 9 to 11 August 2024 from 1pm onwards, limited to the first 59 customers per day.
Members with no plans for this upcoming National Day holiday can also consider heading down to Adidas Brand Centre Orchard between 1pm to 8pm. 590 free cups of Ya Kun beverage and 200 durian swiss rolls will be handed out with any purchase.
The flagship is the only outlet in Singapore where you’ll be able to find the entire Ya Kun collection.
