Meet the 4 Scents

Mandarin Fizz combines mandarin essential oil, pink grapefruit, passion fruit, and creamy coconut for a citrus blend. Lemon Spritz, on the other hand, blends lemon essential oil, lifted by hints of strawberry for a fruity, feel-good scent.

A modern twist on Piña Colada, Tropical Glow blends pineapple pulp, jasmine, and macadamia into a vibrant, youthful scent. Calling all vanilla girlies – Vanilla Gourmand brings a warmer, ambery depth, with a trail of vanilla essence that lingers.

An all-over fragrance spray suitable for hair and body, leaving the skin feeling lightweight and hydrated, available in 150ml, priced at S$65 each.

The mall, known as “the social heart of the east” of Singapore, is celebrating with its Cheers to More rewards campaign, which will run for the entire month until 1 November 2026.

More Rewards For Grabs

To participate, make sure you have the Lendlease Plus app downloaded. Through the app, you can earn Lendlease Plus points (Plus$) and use them to redeem rewards and vouchers!

Now, you might be thinking, what’s the best way to earn Plus$? Well, it’s as easy as shopping at PLQ Mall! During the Cheers to More campaign period, spending S$180 will earn you 10,000 Plus$.

This is higher than usual, where, at the Basic Tier, you would earn 10 Plus$ for every S$1 spent. This means earning 10,000 Plus$ would typically require spending S$1,000. But now till 1 November 2026, you can earn the same 10,000 Plus$ by spending just S$180, allowing you to earn rewards at more than five times the usual rate.

To maximise your rewards, make sure that at least one of your receipts is from a participating Gift & Lifestyle retailer. These stores are MINISO, The Green Party, M&G Life, Gift Greetings and Turtle.

If your S$180 spending includes receipts from any of these stores, you will receive an additional 5,000 Plus$. That means earning a total of 15,000 Plus$.

More To Celebrate Every Friday

Another highlight of the campaign is being able to redeem S$10 Retailers’ E-Vouchers at 12pm every Friday in October with just 1,000 Plus$. Each week will have its own voucher drops, so make sure you check in every Friday for new offers. Featured brands include CHICHA San Chen, OWNDAYS, Cedele, The Wallet Shop, Crocs, Eat Pizza, Cotton On, and more.

For reference, these S$10 Lendlease E-Vouchers are usually redeemable with 20,000 Plus$. But for these selected retailers, they are redeemable with only 1,000 Plus$ – what a steal!

Better yet, you can use up to two vouchers for even greater savings. Use one S$10 voucher with a minimum spend of S$15, or double up with two S$10 vouchers when you spend at least S$30.

More To Savour At Parkside

PLQ’s celebrations extend beyond the mall itself. Head over to PLQ Parkside’s F&B establishments, and you’ll find more exclusive deals. During the campaign period, you can redeem S$5 E-Vouchers for participating restaurants with just 500 Plus$, instead of the usual 10,000 Plus$ requirement. Make sure to get yours quickly before they run out!

These vouchers from participating F&B outlets such as Tanglin Cookhouse, smol, and TOMORO COFFEE can be used daily from 11.30am to 2.30pm. No minimum spending is required.

Whether you work near PLQ, live in the east of Singapore, or are just looking for a hangout spot with friends, there are many reasons to visit this lifestyle destination during the month of October.

With over 200 stores, you will have access to a variety of shopping and dining options, while having a chance to earn rewards at the same time. Plan your next visit to PLQ from now till 1 November 2026!

iHerb is back with a sitewide sale, this time for first-time users! The Golden Week Offer runs from 9am on 27 September 2026 to 8.59am on 2 October 2026, Pacific Time (PT). With code SGGOLD23, eligible customers will get 23% off products from thousands of trusted international brands.

Extensive range of products

For those unfamiliar with iHerb, here’s a quick breakdown. The site offers an extensive range of wellness, beauty, nutrition, and grocery products to meet every kind of lifestyle need. Additionally, many of these products have been given Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

This means that independent, third-party labs have inspected the products’ ingredients, to ensure purity and potency. You can view these COAs directly on product pages and scientifically verify that labels are accurate and transparent.

Products with COAs include those from California Gold Nutrition, such as the Omega-3 Premium Fish Oil and the Kids Liquid Calcium with Magnesium.

The first contains globally sourced, highly refined fish oil that provides good Omega-3 fatty acids essential for daily wellness. If you can’t get enough Omega-3 from your daily food intake, this is a great supplement to maintain normal heart, brain, and vision function.

The second is a blend of important minerals that supports bone health in children. Packed in an easy-to-drink liquid form and with a natural orange flavour, kids will love getting their calcium boost out of this.

k2o by Kylie Jenner

Did you know American personality Kylie Jenner has a wellness hydration brand? Consider products from k2O by Kylie Jenner if you’d like to add extra hydration to your daily beauty routine. The Advanced Skin Hydration Mix is one such product that increases skin hydration and elasticity, while also reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

Available in 3 natural flavours – Peach, Strawberry Lychee, and Watermelon Lime, you can choose the one that suits your taste most or go for a Variety Pack. iHerb, as the official distributor of k2O by Kylie Jenner outside the United States (US), is the only channel to purchase the brand’s products for those of us not living in America. Visit the website if you’d like to get your hands on one.

Doctor’s Best

Another brand worth mentioning is Doctor’s Best. Rooted in the belief that “better living begins with better nutrition, and good nutrition begins with good science”, Doctor’s Best is the place to look whether you need more energy in the day or more quality sleep at night.

One of the brand’s bestsellers is the High Absorption Magnesium Lysinate Glycinate. Each bottle contains 240 tablets, packed with a special formula that supports muscle relaxation, mood balance, and sleep quality.

Proven quality & fast shipping

Whichever brands or products you choose, one perk of shopping on iHerb is peace of mind. iHerb’s triple-quality testing standards ensure that all products sold on its platform achieve the Quality Promise.

At the same time, products are handled and shipped directly from climate-controlled, certified facilities to preserve freshness. This process takes a lot of care, but certainly does not slow down delivery.

In fact, iHerb provides convenient, speedy global shipping, so that you can receive your supplements as soon as possible. If you’ve never shopped on iHerb before, now is the best time to do so, especially with the Golden Week Offer.

Use code SGGOLD23 at your first checkout to get 23% off your order, anytime from 9am PT on 27 September 2026 to 8.59am PT on 2 October 2026. Begin your iHerb journey today!

Whether you choose the Roasted Macadamia Oatmilk Iced Shaken Latte, Roasted Macadamia Oatmilk Frappuccino, or Roasted Macadamia Cold Foam Iced Americano, you will find comfort and layers of flavour in every sip. These seasonal beverages are available until 27 October 2026.

Want to pair your drinks with something to chew on? Why not try Starbucks Singapore’s Autumn Favourites? There are both sweet and savoury treats, but my wallet’s on the Taro Salted Egg Tart and the Salted Caramel Speculoos Cheesecake.

You know where to stop by for a coffee break this month.

From now until 1 November 2026, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is hosting a Festival of Thrills, inviting visitors to unleash the thrill-seeker in them. In fact, RWS has transformed into a destination packed with exciting experiences, including gastronomic dining, after-dark adventures, limited-time rewards, and more.

As the name suggests, you will be able to observe glowing marine life sculptures, among other activities like neon-face painting. Into the Glowcean requires a standard admission ticket (S$55 for adults) to the Singapore Oceanarium; for more information on what else to expect, visit the attraction’s website.

October is commonly referred to as “Spooktober” because of Halloween. So, it’s no surprise that the annual Halloween Horror Nights has also returned to Universal Studios Singapore as part of Festival of Thrills. If you’re someone who sees getting scared as thrilling, this is for you.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights 14 are already on sale for select nights from 25 September 2026 to 1 November 2026. Find out more and get your tickets early here.

Beyond the two events mentioned, RWS’s Festival of Thrills extends to equally thrilling activities involving food and shopping. From games at WEAVE that let you earn retail rewards to a new Free-flow Brunch at Moutarde, there’s much to discover across the resort.

Floating Dessert Omakase Bar

This experience is like a journey through Japan’s seasons, while exploring the harmony between Japanese tradition and Western pastry. Inspired by a floating dessert popularised in Tokyo, Maison Yoshoku uses magnetic levitation to present desserts in mid-air.

Pick your journey from either the 3-course (S$25), 5-course (S$35), or 7-course (S$45) – whichever suits your appetite (and curiosity). Out of the 7 creations, here are our top 3 favourite desserts.

Natsukashii

Inspired by traditional Japanese sweets, Natsukashii celebrates the comforting flavours of Kinako, Kuromitsu, and Peanut cream cheese mousse. Each bite delivers richness, creamy layers, and an unmistakable taste of nostalgia.

Suika no Natsu

Every summer calls for watermelon slices to beat the heat. Suika no Natsu has beautifully interpreted summer through seasonal ingredients, where freshness, sweetness, and elegance come together. The simplicity of watermelon is elevated with Watermelon, Coconut foam, Sago pearls, and finely shaved Kakigori.

Yuzu no Kasumi

If refreshing had a flavour, it’ll be Yuzu no Kasumi. Nitrogen-frozen Yuzu meringue meets Yuzu Kosho sorbet, revelling in the essence of Japanese Citrus.

Grand Opening Promotion

Great news for your wallet and your taste buds – Maison Yoshoku is offering a 1-for-1 promotion on Hitsumabushi Lunch (11.30am to 2pm) and the contemporary Yoshoku Dinner Menu (6pm to 10pm), from 26 to 28 September 2026. The perfect excuse to finally try that floating dessert omakase, too.

Here are a few dinner picks worth trying – a selection of modern Yoshoku dishes and Izakaya-style plates.

First Bites

Sashimi fans, you’ve got to try the Trevally Crudo (S$24), paired with house-made yuzu ponzu, wasabi oil for that nice kick, and heirloom tomatoes.

The Foie Gras Monaka (S$14) appears tiny, but the flavour profile is mighty, with foie gras ganache between crisp wafers. Given how rich the flavour is, we’d suggest splitting the wafer in half and sharing it between 2 for the best experience.

Big Plates

We tried the Maison Yoshoku Bouillabaisse (S$34), a Japanese take on French seafood stew paired with sourdough bread. Our personal favourite was the Grilled Half Spring Chicken (S$35) served with truffle tare and pumpkin wedges, and Kurobuta Rosu Yaki (S$36), succulent, deeply robust, and naturally flavourful.

Come down and give it a try – you won’t regret it.

The dessert Omakase Bar is available from 3pm to 10pm daily, with limited slots. Click here to make your reservations!

Don’t worry, because we have done a breakdown for you so you can join the challenge as soon as possible and not miss out on all the rewards and prizes involved!

How the ReadSG Challenge works

The ReadSG Challenge is the National Library Board’s (NLB) national reading initiative that aims to encourage Singaporeans to “rediscover the joy of reading through a simple daily reading habit”. The ‘challenge’ in question is simply to read for 15 minutes every day and build that daily rhythm.

After each reading session, you can log it via CrowdTaskSG’s website, contributing to NLB’s Read for Good charity drive at the same time.

To begin, click ‘Join quest’ on this page and log in with your Singpass account. The first thing you will want to do is find out your Reading Flavour through a simple personality quiz. You will then receive personalised book recommendations based on your results. Will you be a Kueh Lapis, Kulfi, Tang Yuan or Ang Ku Kueh like me?

No matter which personality type you are, it does not matter, as long as you start reading! You can immediately access your Daily Reading Log on CrowdTaskSG and complete your daily reading task.

Other than building a reading habit and contributing to a good cause, you will also earn rewards along the way. For every daily reading session logged, you will earn 20 coins. Every 1,000 coins accumulated can be converted into S$1 and used at any participating NETS QR merchant.

But that’s not the biggest reward you can get.

Kobo eReader Giveaway

From now until 7 October 2026, completing 15 reading sessions will give you a chance to win a Kobo Clara Colour eReader (worth S$259.90). As long as you successfully meet the 15-session criteria, you will automatically be entered into this Lucky Draw; no separate registration is required.

Start the ReadSG Challenge on the same day this article was published, and you will have more than enough time. Will you be 1 out of 8 lucky winners? Results will be announced on 14 October 2026.

If you miss the first Lucky Draw’s qualifying period, a second one will commence from 8 October 2026 to 30 November 2026. This time, the prize you stand a chance to win is a Kobo Libra Colour eReader (worth S$369.90). Compared to the Clara Colour, this device has a larger screen, twice the storage capacity, and physical page-turn buttons.

To enter this Lucky Draw, you will need to log 30 reading sessions within the qualifying period and not have won in the first Lucky Draw. 7 winners will be announced on 6 January 2027 and will receive their new Libra Colour.

Big Book Giveaway 2026

If reading more books was one of your New Year’s resolutions and you haven’t really started (ahem, talking from personal experience), now’s a great opportunity! In fact, you can kickstart your reader’s journey this weekend with the Big Book Giveaway (BBG).

This annual community event by NLB is happening on 19 & 20 September 2026, inviting visitors to bring home pre-loved books from its public library collections, free of charge. If you’d like, you can also bring your own books to share with others.

BBG will take place from 10am to 4pm at the National Library Building’s Level 1 Plaza, and you can take back with you a maximum of 10 books. Checking in at this event will also earn you 20 bonus coins on CrowdTaskSG. Find out more here.

It’s time to fall in love with reading again.

Wagyu Suji Matsuri takes centre stage at Aburi-EN with new dishes starting from S$9.90 and an S$8 red wine top-up. This deal is available for a limited time only, from 15 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.

Wagyu Suji Promotion

The menu showcases tender, slow-simmered beef tendon, prepared across an array of Japanese-inspired dishes. Kick things off with the Crispy Wagyu Suji Karaage (S$9.90) or the Stir-fry Wagyu Suji with Capsicum (S$11.90), a great appetiser. For the mains, pick between the Wagyu Suji Dry Ramen (S$14.90), Spicy Nogi Wagyu Suji Don (S$15.90), which ads a fiery kick, or the Wagyu Suji Nikomi Don (S$17.90) that comes with an onsen egg. Each delivers a hearty, comforting dish where the beef tendon’s rich, gelatinous texture takes centre stage – perfect casual lunch with your colleagues and friends.

And because no post-work wind-down is complete without a proper “whine” down, top up S$8 for a glass of red wine with any Wagyu Suji Matsuri dish – a moo-velous way to “un-wine-d” after a long day at work or cheers to a warm and umami-rich meal.

Do note that this promotion is available for dine-in at all Aburi-EN outlets, except Aburi-EN Grand at Paragon. Swing by your nearest store and give the new items a try.
