If you’ve been on TikTok over the past six months, you would’ve definitely come across videos of Wagyu Kushi Skewers sold at Don Don Donki stores in Malaysia. Although you could totally go for a weekend getaway in Kuala Lumpur, these viral skewers have finally made their way to our shores.
Prepared using halal-certified A5-grade wagyu directly air-flown from Japan, the wagyu skewers first made an appearance at Malaysia’s Don Don Donki store in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, drawing large crowds. A5 wagyu priced at RM9.80 (small) and RM15.80 (big)? I can see why people go crazy for them.
These scrumptious skewers are perfect for a midday snack, or a lunch add-on, and you can now find them in Singapore.
Exclusively available at 100 AM
Get your hands on these soft and juicy wagyu skewers exclusively at 100 AM in Tanjong Pagar. Using wagyu specially sourced from Kagoshima Prefecture, each and every skewer is cooked to order at your preferred doneness (rare or cooked).
Priced at S$4.90/pc and $8.90 for two, they will be available from 10am, while stocks last.
Do note that the beef used here is not halal-certified.
The skewers will be coming to Don Don Donki’s Orchard Central store in end-June 2022 — I can hardly wait!
