Most of us would probably own an EZ-Link Card because the most common mode of transportation for us is the bus or train. Did you know that you can earn rewards simply by using your SimplyGo EZ-Link card? That’s not all!
EZ-Link is launching a new in-app game — ParaDash — from 1 to 31 August 2023, where you can win instant cashback rewards as well as walk away with some super attractive prizes. Here’s how you can stand a chance to win.
1. SimplyGo EZ-Link Card
For those who don’t know, SimplyGo is an account-based ticketing platform that allows you to top-up your EZ-Link cards, get notified on the amount paid and check your card balance all on the go — something I really appreciate especially since I don’t pay attention to these details when tapping out. If you’re like me, this feature will certainly benefit you. Plus, you can check your card balance easily by pairing your card with the EZ-Link app.
For those who don’t have a SimplyGo EZ-Link card, you can always get one from any SimplyGo Ticket Office, or you can upgrade your existing card or charm to a SimplyGo EZ-Link card at any ticketing machine.
If you don’t know if your EZ-Link card is a SimplyGo EZ-Link card, you can always check on the EZ-Link app conveniently. SimplyGo EZ-Link cards are reflected with a light-blue colour along with the words ‘SimplyGo’ at the bottom.
2. Earn Rewards & perks through the EZ-Link app
Apart from checking your card balance and topping up your card on-the-go, you can also earn points to redeem rewards from your transport rides — Doesn’t that sound great? But of course, to do that, you’ll first need to download the EZ-Link app and pair your SimplyGo EZ-Link card to the app.
Each transport ride will earn you some points which you can then use to redeem lifestyle, F&B rewards, and more. Speaking of rewards, EZ-Link is releasing a special in-app game – ParaDash game — where you can win exciting lucky draw prizes worth up to S$258 as well as cashback rewards worth up to S$5.80.
3. The ParaDash game
Everyone’s favourite attraction during the National Day Parade is the Red Lions doing their iconic freefall jump. In line with National Day, EZ-Link will be a new in-app parachute game concept — and don’t worry, you won’t need to be jumping out of any airplane.
For every S$2 spent on your SimplyGo EZ-Link card, you’ll earn one chance to play the ParaDash game. New players will begin with two free game chances. To score more chances to play the game, just travel with your SimplyGo EZ-Link card or when you refer someone to play the game.
How the game works is your in-game parachutist will jump off from a helicopter flying across the screen. Using the left and right arrows at the bottom of your screen, you will control the direction of the parachutist to help them land on the landing spot marked by an X.
4. Lucky draw rewards and cashback
If you’re competitive (like me), you’re probably more interested in what you get when you win. Each successful landing will earn you one star or cashback rewards worth up to S$5.80 — that’s almost as much as how much I spend on transport in a day! If you land outside of the X, you’ll earn one star which will go to your lucky draw chances — at least you still win something I guess.
There’s also a Lucky Draw taking place on 29 September 2023, with attractive prizes to be won. Be among some of the 58 winners to win prizes worth up to S$258 and lucky winners will be contacted by EZ-Link. May the odds be in your favour!
5. Terms and Conditions
To participate in this game, you will first need to download the EZ-Link app onto your phone and have at least one active SimplyGo EZ-Link card. Cashback rewards will also be credited to your last used SimplyGo EZ-Link card — so if you haven’t already changed your card to a SimplyGo EZ-Link card, you better do it now!
However, if you’re using EZ-Link as a motoring card, it is recommended that you do not upgrade to SimplyGo as the card will no longer be compatible with your IU.
The EZ-Link ParaDash game is available from now until 31 August 2023, so make sure you make the upgrade before you play the game!
