Let’s face it. Gardens by the Bay may be filled with nature’s splendor, but that’s not the reason why we keep coming back. The flowers are pretty and all, but it’s the ever-changing decor that always spices up the place — from the explosion of sakuras to the adorable Otah and Friends, we now have ginormous animal inflatables in Gardens by the Bay.
New animal inflatables in Gardens by the Bay
As part of the Children’s Festival event for Art-Zoo Wonder Gardens, you can now find animal and insect-themed inflatables at Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay.
The vibrant colour of the displays helps the inflatables to stand out amongst the lush greenery, but really, it’s their size we’re in awe of — we look like miniatures beside them.
Seven gigantic inflatables are peppered over the place, inviting parents and curious little ones to admire or take pictures with them.
As much as we’d like to bounce on them, these adorable inflatables at Gardens by the Bay are only for display. Instead, sign up for trail activities to learn more about the garden as an ecosystem, or, join the nearby classes on terrarium-building and slime-making for a family day out.
For something unbearably adorable, try to find Bruno Bear, one of the seven mascots of Art-Zoo. Bruno is designed with a patchwork of colours, giving him a playful charm. Besides, how can one say no to such a grin?
Pets are allowed in the area too, so perhaps it’ll be a good idea to bring Chonker out for a walk. These inflatables at Gardens by the Bay probably look like huge squeaky toys to them — a dog’s dream come true.
Held till 3 October, the Art-Zoo Wonder Gardens is free to enter. Be sure to bring along water bottles to hydrate yourself and umbrellas as the weather can get humid!
