As someone who loves the majestic vibes of carnivals, I always get so excited whenever I’m surrounded by mouth-watering treats, fanfare, and presented the opportunity to unleash my inner child to embrace excitement. I mean, who remembers how fun last year’s Carnival by the Bay 2022 was?
In the blink of an eye, we have reached that time of the year again! Grab your picnic mats and mark your calendars folks, because Marina Bay Alliance returns with this year’s Carnival by the Bay 2023 at The Lawn @ Marina Bay.
You might wonder, what is there to do in the period of 22 to 23 September 2023 from 5pm to 9.30pm? There’s plenty!
Since it is a carnival, of course there will be games suitable for all — from family adventures to fun-filled romantic date nights — including interactive arcade games. Does anyone smell friendly competition?
Of course, how can we forget the light snacks (popcorn and cotton candy, anyone?), beverages and even ice cream? Although entry into the carnival is completely free, you’ll need to purchase at least S$10 worth of coupons if you want to check out the food stalls and game booths!
But what I’m most ecstatic for are the free movie screenings under the stars! Do take note that although there are outdoor seats available, it is advisable to bring your foldable chairs or picnic mats if you want to secure a good spot.
Carnival by the Bay will not be disappointing us with their film lineup this year, starting with action-packed Top Gun: Maverick on 22 September at 7.30pm, and wrapping it up with Jurassic World Dominion on 23 September at 7.30pm, keeping us glued to our seats.
Since Carnival by the Bay is an outdoor event and subject to changing weather conditions, be prepared for the movie screening to be relocated to Marina One West Tower, Auditorium Hall, Level 3, located within walking distance from The Lawn, in the case of wet weather.
Don’t worry, at least there will be complimentary popcorn provided for the inconvenience.
All cashless payment modes are accepted, and PayNow will be accepted at the ticketing booth. Oh, and if you’re a Marina Bay Alliance Tenant, there will be exclusive gifts, popcorn, and candy floss for you too!
