Esports — it’s wild how massive it’s become, even earning its own Olympics. But really, it’s no surprise when you think about it as it combines two things many of us love: video games and the thrill of competing to be the best.

PC cafes have become especially popular for offering a perfect escape from everyday stresses, and one standout in Singapore that has gained a loyal following is Wanyoo Esports.

I guess their first outlet in Lavender couldn’t keep up with the demand, so they’ve opened a bigger flagship spot in Holland Village. Now known as Elixir Esports, this new spot has plenty of exciting features to offer.

First and foremost, they spot a sleek, futuristic theme, packed with smart features. Think modular design elements and one-touch controllable RGB lighting for a more atmospheric gaming experience. There’s also a life-sized Iron Man figure to greet you when you first enter.

Secondly, the space is huge. The first floor is where all the action happens — where up to 70 gamers can play it out on 20 PCs, watch live streams, and kick back with some food and drinks in between sessions.

The second floor is more intimate, featuring private gaming rooms and couple suites for a quieter, more personalised gaming experience.

Planning to host a party or coming in a group? Opt for their 5-person party rooms or one of their 30 VIP rooms to ensure plenty of space and comfort for everyone.

However, what makes Elixir Esports so special is that they boast Singapore’s first and only centralised server room. If you’re not a hardcore gamer and are unsure of its significance, don’t worry — I’ve got you covered!

This essentially eliminates the need for those bulky CPU cases on or under the gaming tables, so all you see are the monitors. It makes the space feel roomier and comfier, plus it helps keep things cool better.

You can reserve your seat from S$6 per hour but if you’re planning to come back often, I recommend getting their membership for even better deals. For just S$10, you can grab an Elixir VIP membership that unlocks exclusive perks and even acts as credit for your games.

Plus, if you bring your friends into the Elixir family, you’ll score a $5 reward for each referral.

So, when are you and your gaming buddies planning to check this place out?
