Pamper your furkids at Singapore’s largest indoor dog pool, where they can be treated to various grooming services, spa treatments, pet physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and more all in one place

by Sheree Chua

It’s no secret our furkids are treated better than us. I’m personally not a pet owner (sad, I know) but I can see the amount of pets getting spoiled with massages, designer wardrobes, and even their own houses. Talk about living life, am I right?

At a time when more people are becoming pawrents, it makes sense for Singapore to open up another dog pool.

However, Fort Canine Swimming Club doesn’t just have an ordinary pool – it boasts the country’s largest, enriched with minerals like magnesium and potassium to protect the skin.

This is all thanks to Mutts & Mittens, one of Singapore’s most popular pet boarding centres.

Their dog pool is specially designed for your furkids to have a blast, featuring sloping floors for easy access, rest areas for when they need a breather, and life jackets for extra safety — because it’s always better to be safe than sorry!

That’s not all as Fort Canine Swimming Club intends to be a one-stop shop for all your pets’ needs. If your precious pup has been ‘overworked,’ it’s time to treat them to some well-deserved physiotherapy at The Pet Physio.

Here, doggies are cared for by a team of experienced therapists who use the latest techniques to improve mobility and assist with recovery after injuries. For ageing doggos or those dealing with joint issues, they can benefit from Hydrotherapy — water-based activities with lower impact.

When it comes to grooming, The Pets Workshop has got you covered. Whether it’s a full-on spa experience or a simple fur trimming and styling, their wide range of services offered allows your furkid to feel their very best at all times.

Their Herbal spa treatment has caught my attention for their blend of more than 20 herbs. These herbs have been shown to heal a range of skin conditions, including yeast infections, rashes, eczema, and dandruff.

Keeping an eye on your pet can be exhausting, so don’t forget to recharge at Rollin, located inside Fort Canine Swimming Club. Naturally, the menu features hot dogs (keeping in theme here). Get ready to sink your teeth into Asia’s first-ever cheese-crusted hot dogs, offering flavours like Tangy Yoghurt and Peppery Corn.

Before leaving the premises, make sure to stop by Heads Up For Tails (HUFT), where you can find a selection of pet accessories, clothing, wellness products, and more.

The best part about Fort Canine Swimming Club is that it’s open to everyone, even if you don’t have a pet. If you’re like me and simply want to catch a glimpse of some adorable doggies, feel free to swing by!
