Here’s the next new thing in town – take your art-jamming experience to the next level with Hueplay Studios’ glow in the dark art-jamming sessions.
Step into a neon-hued room where canvases await you, decorated with artwork from previous sessions to get your creative juices flowing. Using fluorescent paint, you’ll get to paint whatever you wish in this session – from aesthetic cityscapes to flowers.
The special paint gives your pieces a funky ethereal vibe, and you’ll get to experiment with acrylic and phosphorescent paints in this 3-hour session. And after, you can take your paintings home to show your family and friends .
Materials are also provided, so you won’t have to bring anything to the studio, which will provide each participant with paints, brushes, an apron (to prevent spills), a 40cm by 50cm canvas and all the tools you’ll need to create your masterpiece.
Each session costs S$58 per person for 3 hours, and if you can’t decide what to paint, Hueplay’s friendly staff will be on hand to guide you.
In addition to glow-in-the-dark art jamming, for those who prefer a day spent painting, feel free to check out their regular art jamming sessions, where you can choose from painting on a canvas or a tote bag with materials provided.
Alternatively, try your hand at their punch needle workshop (S$58 for 3 hours, minimum 2 people) and make your own embroidered coaster or other decor to spruce up your home with. You can even customise the colours on your coaster, and embroider your own designs or follow the studio’s many cute templates, such as vibrant sunrise and pretty flowers.
The studio also offers rug tufting workshops where you can make your own custom rug or tuft piece (from S$99 per person depending on size of the rug), from Snoopy to Batman, or whatever strikes your fancy.
