If you’ve ever asked your partner the question “coffee, tea, or me?”, would it surprise you to know that they can have all three? Yet another home-based business that has hopped on the brick-and-mortar store bandwagon is Kopiboy.sg, an online retailer specialising in top-quality coffee and tea made by an award-winning barista.

Nestled along Changi Road, the shop space is mainly catered towards takeaway customers, but you can opt to dine in at the bar counter or high tables near the entrance.

Aside from the usual hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, which can be ordered for dine-in, you can also find an extensive range of bottled cold brews in unique flavours.

The Espresso Series, for instance, features crowd favourites like Authentic Kopi (S$2.50), Sinfully Dark Mocha (S$4.50), and Teh Tarik (S$2.50), alongside a lovely selection of Lattes (from S$5.50) including the likes of Biscoff Oat Latte, Buttered Popcorn Latte, and Creamy Matcha Latte.

As for the non-caffeinated options, you can enjoy Peppermint Chocolate, Strawberries & Cream, and even Mango De Leche, a creamy milk-based beverage with a flavour profile reminiscent of mango lassi.

Pair your coffee with a small selection of cakes, cookies, and pastries, such as Cinnamon Rolls (S$5), Fudgey Brownies (S$5), and Nutella Fold (from S$5 for 4 slices), otherwise known as tapak kuda.

For something a little more substantial, the cafe also serves toasties, croissants, and croissant sandwiches filled with creamy Egg Mayonaise (S$6.50) and the quintessential Ham & Cheese (S$6.50), served alongside Truffle Chips.

As for the toasties, although it’s hard to go wrong with a Mushroom & Cheese (S$6.50), I’d order the deceptively simple yet attention-grabbing Samyang & Mozarella (S$7.50) in a heartbeat. The iconic spicy Korean fire noodles are paired with stretchy mozzarella on toasted brioche, and topped with a sunny-side-up — count me in!
