An unconventional flavour we’ve yet to see, the Matcha Longjing Latte (S$6.50) may look unassuming. Once sipped on, you’ll taste an underlying flavour of Longjing tea—infusing Beutea’s signature flavours and its new menu. 

Not to forget the classics, Beutea’s Matcha Strawberry Latte (S$7.50) makes an appearance for those who prefer familiar flavours. 

Apart from this menu, you can look forward to more than just drinks. With every Matcha Series purchase in store, receive a free limited-edition sticker and purchase Beutea’s cutest blind box featuring the KIKI MEOW plushie blind bag at just S$6.90.

Making its debut at Orchard Central, the store is impossible to miss due to its open location and iconic mascot greeting its customers into the store. 

We first tried the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea (S$5.20), which carried a light floral aroma, and did not come off too strong in any aspect. Perfect for first-time customers and milk tea lovers, this first drink became our personal favourite as well. 

As for the Snowy Jasmine (S$6.50), it is essentially the same Jasmine Milk Tea base, but topped off with fluffy whipped cream. While spoons are given for you to solely appreciate the cream, the whipped topping melted pretty fast, so be sure to take those Instagram shots before anything else! Although the cream did add a sweeter aftertaste to the drink, we aren’t too sure if the topping was worth the additional S$1.30. 

On to the more unconventional teas, Molly Tea’s Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea (S$5.90) was an interesting combination which reminded us of the common Yakult Tea from bubble tea shops. Upon trying the drink, we found the apple flavour to be a little too sweet for our liking, but that could have been due to us choosing 50% sugar for all our drinks. We’d definitely recommend still trying this drink, but at a 30% sugar level for the optimal balance of sweet and milky. 

For those who are not a fan of milk tea, you can opt for the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut (S$6.20), a combination of Premium Jasmine with refreshing coconut water and pistachio cheese. Although an unconventional combination, this turned out to be more refreshing than expected, and worth a taste if you’re not a milk tea fan. 

Between the White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea (S$5.20) and White Champaca Matcha (S$5.90), the former had a richer tea taste, while the latter carried a strong green tea taste. This White Champaca pair also came out to be one of our favourite menu items, and the most underrated items in our opinion. 

Overall, we can foresee Molly Tea becoming a popular franchise, especially among tea lovers (including CHAGEE patrons). While we ordered 50% sugar for all the drinks, we would come back a second time to try it at 30% instead. 

If you’re planning to head down to Orchard Central and taste these aromatic teas for yourself, Molly Tea is currently offering 12% off all drinks from 3 March to 2026 to 5 March 2026 as part of its opening promotion. 

It doesn’t end there, because Molly Tea will also be offering a list of grand opening promotions from 6 March 2026 to 8 March 2026; such as a buy-one get-one free promotion on all drinks, a free Singapore-exclusive magnet and bag to the first 200 customers of each day, and a Singapore limited merchandise pop-up next to the store.

Now, CHAGEE is levelling up their game with their first-ever upcoming family-friendly store in Singapore. 

The store outlet will open its door to the public on 9 January 2026, conveniently located at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, specifically the Atrium itself. It’ll be hard to miss the store, especially when it’ll be placed alongside other notable brands, such as CHICHA San Chen, Guerilla Coffee, Kopi & Tarts, and more. What really captures the store’s unique essence is the life-sized pony statue that comically guards the store. Upon entering, cloud-shaped lighting floats above you, instilling a sense of whimsical and child-like wonder in the customers. 

Step further into the store, and you’ll see the interactive wall — made out of moving panels that let you spin and recreate an entirely different illustration — bringing homage to local Singapore playgrounds, which have a similar mechanic as well. Next up is an interactive screen that offers simple motion games by recognising and tracking your movements to win. While the exact type of games has yet to be announced, our imagination is running wild with possibilities — Just Dance, Charades, Hole in the Wall, and more. 

Another feature that the outlet has is comfortable sofas, perfect for parents to rest stress-free while their kids roam around and have fun. The mere anticipation and expectation of the store outlet has us eagerly waiting for its opening as well! 

As part of the store’s official opening, CHAGEE is hosting a Grand Opening special from 9 January 2026 to 11 January 2026 with ongoing activities and competitions — you’ll stand a chance for a complimentary Tear & Win cup upgrade with every Large Fresh Milk Tea purchase — applicable for BO•YA Jasmine Green Milk Tea, Peach Oolong Milk Tea and Da Hong Pao Milk Tea only. Tea Story is MacPherson’s newest cosy spot for affordable tea breaks. With each item priced below S$10, this may well be your go-to spot for a quick midday pick-me-up.

Step into a quaint space with wooden elements and lots of greenery, complete with curated oriental decorations.

Look out for the Healthy Baked Milk series, a line of milk tea with various health benefits. Each pot is freshly brewed, so expect to wait ten minutes for your pot of wellbeing. 

Feel pretty in pink with the Rose Milk Tea (S$7.90), which comes with longan, red dates, and wolfberries.

Not a fan of traditional tea? They have classic bubble tea options such as the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea (S$5.90) and Royal Ceylon Honey Milk Tea (S$5.90).

For something more refreshing, try the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea Smoothie (S$5.80), Lychee Rose Milkshake (S$5.90), or the Duck Poop Oolong Perfume Lemon (S$6.90). 

While you can’t choose your sugar level yet, patrons have reported that the drinks aren’t too sweet. 

Add-ons such as Taro Balls, Coffee Jelly, Pearls and Agar Balls are available from S$0.80. Alternatively, upsize your drink for S$1.

Nourish your soul with the Peach Gum, Tremella and Red Dates Soup (S$5.80). Brewed by hand for three hours every day, this is good for cough relief and skin health.

Life is always better with a sweet treat, so check out their range of handmade desserts.  The Pandan Rice Noodles (S$5.90) are almost too adorable to eat. 

Or, the Osmanthus Jasmine Cheese (S$7.90) with handmade osmanthus jelly is a light and jiggly dessert that tastes similar to jasmine cheesecake.

For better bowel movement and enhanced immunity, get the Coconut Milk and Peach Gum Taro Balls (S$5.90).

On the other hand, the Traditional Tremella Stewed Pear (S$7.90) is great for skin and throat health.

If you happen to be in the area during lunchtime, try their savoury bone soup rice noodles. Spice lovers will enjoy the Happy Spicy Rice Noodles (S$6.90), with ingredients including quail eggs, black fungus, and crab sticks.

If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, I’d best describe their drinks as tea-centric delights — brewed using the finest premium tea leaves from China.

After opening outlets in Tiong Bahru Plaza and Northpoint City, Beutea’s third outlet at Tampines MRT is set to open its doors to the public on 10 May 2025.

As an Eastie, I still get confused about the exits in Tampines MRT, so here’s an easy way to remember its location: Exit B for Beautea.

Plan a trip on 10 May 2025 (expect a large crowd) to cop their 1-for-1 promotion. It’s limited to one redemption per customer, and the lower-priced drink will be free.

If you’re not free on that day, it’s okay because they’re also having a Mother’s Day sale on 11 May 2025. Enjoy 11% off, whether or not you’re a mother (although you’d better get a drink for your mum).

Unless you have a sweet tooth, I recommend opting for the 25% sugar level to savour the rich tea flavour.

Finally, here’s the scoop on their newest drinks.

For the ultimate guilt-free experience, try the Bitter Melon Apple Tea (S$7.60).

I know “bitter melon” might have raised a few eyebrows, but the drink is only subtly bitter. It’s also supplemented by healthy ingredients including superfood kale, immunity-boosting lemon, and zero-calorie sugar.

The new Forest Roasted Series is exclusively available in Singapore. 

Comprising the Forest Roasted Cold Brew (S$4.90) and Forest Roasted Milk Tea (Regular: S$5.30, Large: S$5.90), these new brews are a lighter version of their best-selling Roasted Oolong Milk Tea.

In the best way possible, the milk tea’s aromatic roasted notes made me feel like I was tasting the earth.

Other than the new collection, Beutea offers more than 30 products. 

The Fresh Milk Tea series features fresh milk tea, topped with luscious whipped cream. 

My personal pick is the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea (Regular: S$4.90, Large: S$5.60, Hot: S$5.90). While the peach flavour is subtle, it pairs well with the earthiness of the oolong tea.

Lactose-intolerant girlies, I haven’t forgotten about you.

Try the Fresh Fruit Tea Series instead, which is half-fresh fruit and half-tea base.

The Fresh Grapefruit Tea (Jasmine Tea base: S$5.90, Oolong Tea base: S$6.60) is sour, bitter, and sweet — all at once. On a hot day, this is the perfect thirst-quencher.

From 11 May 2025 onwards, get your grip (literally) on Beutea’s blind boxes for S$3.50, valid with a purchase of any drink.

It also doesn’t help that bubble teas in Singapore are notoriously pricey, especially when they include toppings (and there have to be toppings because otherwise, what’s the point of drinking bubble tea?).

Fortunately, one dessert brand has come through with us and that’s none other than Bingxue. If you’re a fan of Chinese desserts or a regular visitor to Johor Bahru, you should be no stranger to this shop.

But for those who fall outside these groups, let me fill you in with a little background. Bingxue is essentially a tea and ice cream brand hailing from Shandong, China. To say they’re popular is an understatement as the brand now boasts over 3,000 shops around the world.

You can find Bingxue’s first outlet in Singapore at Junction Nine in Yishun, though a second outlet is soon popping up at Changi City Point on 15 October 2024 (so keep your eyes peeled!).

Regardless of whether you like ice cream or not, you need to get their famous S$1 ice cream. Yes, for just a dollar, you can beat the heat with some delicious vanilla or matcha soft-serve served in a cone. Or, you can get them mixed.

Drinks-wise, Bingxue has a wide selection, ranging from classic milk tea and fruit-infused teas to coconut milk beverages. Best-sellers include the Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea (S$3), Brown Sugar Bubble Tea (S$3), and the Supreme Milk Tea (S$3.50) — topped with pearl, coconut jelly, and red bean.

There’s also the one-litre juice buckets that are perfect when you’re especially parched. Take your pick from either the Grape Juice (S$4) or Rainbow Fresh Fruit (S$4.50). The latter is the most expensive item on the menu but it’s no surprise given the vibrant mix of watermelon, orange, passionfruit, lemon, and lime.

That’s not all! Aside from these regular offerings, Bingxue has also taken an effort to come up with special monthly specials. The drink for November is still hush-hush (obviously) but you heard it here first that it’ll be panda-themed.

The post Popular Chinese dessert brand Bingxue’s first outlet in Singapore has S$1 vanilla or matcha ice cream, alongside one-litre juice buckets, bubble teas and more for less than S$4.50 appeared first on Confirm Good.

Taishike is a cosy restaurant located along Circular Road, joining the likes of popular haunts like Dumpling Darlings, Ilmiri, and Sonny’s Pizza among others. The storefront sports a very quirky logo which you definitely cannot miss. 

You might find this name rather familiar, that’s because the brand started out as a home-based business during the pandemic. They’ve since graduated from cooking up yummy dishes at home to now owning their very first brick-and-mortar shop!

The restaurant has kept things fairly simple with their menu, featuring only a handful of iconic Taiwanese mains. Don’t worry, the quintessential Braised Pork Belly Rice (S$8.50) made it to the menu. 

It comprises sweet and tender braised pork atop fluffy white rice and garnished with coriander and pickled radish. You also have the choice to add-on onsen egg (S$2) or a fried sunny side-up (S$1.50).  

My only gripe is that the rice was a little too mushy for my liking. Flavour-wise, the sweetness of the sauce really elevated the flavours of the pork. 

In true Taiwanese fashion, we also had the Braised Beef Noodles (S$15.50). This was by far one of the better versions of Taiwanese beef noodles I’ve ever tasted. The broth was super flavourful with a strong beefy flavour and a mild spice. I just wish they gave us more soup because it was so tasty. 

The noodles were chewy and made in-house, it was slightly thicker than the traditional la mian, almost like a thin udon. The dish also came with thick and tender beef tendons, alongside some veggies — honestly quite a wholesome meal, especially for its price point. I’ll definitely be back for more! 

No visit to a Taiwanese restaurant is complete without some snacks and of course we had to order the Fried King Oyster Mushrooms (S$5.90). It comprises large chunks of mushrooms deep fried to a golden brown and then dusted with some salt and pepper. 

I kid you not, this was super crispy and oh so addictive, I could not stop myself from reaching out for more — and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t typically eat king oyster mushrooms. 

Other sides include Crispy Chicken Bites (S$7.50), Golden Tofu (S$5.50), Drunken Prawn (S$9), Taiwanese Kimchi (S$4.50), Marinated Cucumber (S$4.50) and more. 

Drinks-wise, you can look forward to slurping down some house-made bubble teas including the iconic Taiwanese drinks like Brown Sugar Fresh Milk (S$5) and Bubble Assam Milk Tea (S$5). 

For something a little more bubbly, you can go for one of their hand-crafted cocktails like the Midnight Bloom (S$18), Summer Breeze (S$17), and Yuzu Whiskey Zest (S$18) amongst several others. They also have a selection of beers if cocktails aren’t your fancy. 

If you love Taiwanese fare as much as I do, and don’t have any plans to visit the country anytime soon then you definitely have to check out Taishike. I know I’ll be back for more beef noodles and the king oyster mushrooms!

Onlynee Cafe is located in Jalan Mutiara, about 30 minutes drive away from JB Sentral. But trust me the drive up here will be totally worth it, especially once you see the adorable ducks waddling around the cafe grounds. 

Currently the cafe only has three resident ducks — Gong Xi, Fa Cai, and Happy — but don’t worry, there’ll be more coming soon. Visitors are welcome to interact with the ducks and even feed them treats, which can be purchased over the counter for just S$0.57 (RM2).

Apart from feeding the ducks, you can also cuddle with them and even get them to perform tricks for you. Although, you should take note that the ducks might randomly take flight, so consider yourself warned. 

Onlynee Cafe also has a pretty interesting menu which boasts hearty mains but the crowd favourites here are their pastas. Go for the Creamy Chicken Carbonara (S$4.84, RM16.90) that comprises chicken chunks drenched in a creamy mushroom sauce. There’s even a vegetarian option — the Classic Tomato Pasta (S$3.98, RM13.90) — which comprises fresh mushrooms, and broccoli

Drinks-wise, their drinks menu is pretty much bubble tea heaven for all bubble tea lovers, with drinks like White Peach Oolong Milk Tea (from S$2.14, RM7.50), Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea (from S$3.66 ,RM12.80), Peach & Passion Oolong Tea (from S$3.38, RM11.80) and more. 

Yam lovers must order their highly raved Yam Jasmine Bubble Milk Tea (from S$3.66, RM12.80) which comprises fresh yam puree that is made fresh daily. 

Apart from eating and playing with ducks, Onlynee Cafe also has a selection of board games which you can play too — the ducks might even join you for a round or two, how cute is that?  

The best part about this cafe is, there is no entrance fee! All you gotta do is to order at least one food or drink item on the menu and you’re all set to play with the ducks until your heart is full.

Well, this bubble tea joint in Malaysia lets you enjoy the best of both worlds. Tadaa Box is a fairly new bubble tea joint that has gone viral for their unique combination of bubble tea served together with a surprise gift. Fun fact: their slogan is “Cup of happiness” and boy do they live up to it. 

How it works is, you get to choose from their signature combos which comprises different combinations of drinks and surprise gifts. The most popular combo is the Ta-Daa! Combo (S$7.17, RM24.99) which entitles you to one drink of your choice and a surprise gift. 

Other combinations include Happy Happy (S$11.19, RM38.99) which entitles you to a drink of your choice and not one but two surprise gifts — I might actually splurge on this if I’m feeling extra boujee. If you’re with friends, the 6 Six 6 Six combo (S$20.96, RM72.99) entitles you to three drinks and three surprise gifts. 

But of course, if you’re just here for the drinks and not in the mood for a surprise, then you’re free to grab just a drink alone too. 

Drinks-wise, you can indulge in unique creations from the Coconut, Milk Tea, Lime and fruit tea series. Some interesting concoctions include the Creamy Longan Delight (S$4.02, RM14) which comprises longan jelly and coconut milk. 

Tadaa Box also has an interesting Water Chestnut Oolong Milk Tea (S$4.02, RM14) which is a mix of osmanthus oolong milk tea and water chestnut. There’s also a peach variation of this drink too. 

They also have your classic drinks like the Golden Dream (S$4.02, RM14), Peach Blossom (S$4.02, RM14), Tangy Yuzu (S$4.02, RM14), Jasmine Green Tea (S$2.29) and Lime Zesty Serenity (S$3.44, RM12). 

But onto the more exciting part, the surprise gifts! Think soft and cuddly character plushies like Lotso, Kirby, Kuromi, Hello Kitty and so much more. The surprises change every month so make sure to check their Instagram page for the latest series of gifts — fingers crossed you leave with a good one. 

Tadaa Box currently has two outlets in Malaysia, one in Midvalley Megamall in KL, and the other in KSL Averyday in JB — perfect for those who are planning a short weekend getaway across the causeway. 

As a self-proclaimed bubble tea lover with a newfound appreciation for blindboxes, you can bet that I will definitely be stopping by Tadaa Box the next time I’m in JB.
