Calling all seafood lovers: you’ve heard of claypot lala, now get ready for claypot prawns!
Located at Eden Food Mall along Marsiling Industrial Estate Road, Woodlands Claypot Prawn claims to be the first in Singapore to specialise in claypot prawns cooked over charcoal.
The Speciality Prawn Broth (S$32.80) is slow-cooked with fresh prawn heads, so you can look forward to a great depth of rich and umami flavour. Feel free to ramp up the prawny goodness by shelling out an additional 500g of Prawns for S$15.80.
You can choose from a selection of over 50 add-on ingredients at prices from as low as S$0.80, so don’t be afraid to go all out on your favourite meats, seafood, and vegetables.
Aside from the usual suspects like Fresh Fish Ball (S$6.80), Australian Beef Slices (S$10.80), Shabu Pork (S$8.80), Enoki (S$2.80), Beancurd Prawn Roll (S$6.80), and Cheese Tofu (S$6.80), there are also more premium options like Hokkaido Scallop (S$10.80), Snow Crab (S$8.80), and Tiger Prawns (S$10.80).
The best part? Diners can enjoy unlimited refills of the prawn broth, which is always a huge plus point.
But that’s not all, as you can also help yourself to the free-flow sauce bar, with condiments like homemade chilli sauce, Japanese sesame dressing, and minced garlic, just to name a few.
Don’t miss out on their moonlight hor fun-inspired Hokkien Mee (S$8.80), which comes served with prawns, squid, pork belly, crispy pork lard, and a luscious raw egg.
Perfect for those who prefer wet-style Hokkien mee with extra zhup (gravy).
