It’s that time of the year again — it’s Pumpkin Spice Latte season at Starbucks again, as they bring it back to Singapore for 2021. The popular chain has brought back the popular drink as well as other seasonal special at Starbucks outlets islandwide.
We know Singapore is forever in Summer overdrive and we don’t have falling auburn leaves like what you see on US TV. But it’s still a pretty refreshing drink that will surely make the inner basic white girls in us squeal.
If you want to get in on some of that sweet pumpkin spice-charged stuff, you can get a cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte (from $7.60) from Starbucks.
It’s a comforting blend of pumpkin and spice notes that might make you feel like you’re standing in the gentle autumn breeze and watching falling leaves, even if you’re trapped in Singapore. Or really, it’s just a good sugary boost that will help everyone get through those tough afternoon lulls after lunch.
But if you’re not a fan of overly creamy lattes, Starbucks also offers a Pumpkin Spice Cream Cold Brew (from S$7.20) that spreads a layer of pumpkin-spiced foam over their signature cold brew.
Or top-up a bit and get it with the premium small-batch Nitro Cold Brew from S$8.30, which sports a much smoother mouthfeel.
Besides bringing back the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte for 2021, Starbucks is also introducing plant-based whipping cream as a topping to their menu.
Lining up beside the seasonal favourite, other fall specials on the Starbucks menu include the Iced Oatmilk Cocoa Macchiato (from $7.50) and Oatmilk Honey Latte (from $7.60) for those who enjoy the guilt-free silkiness of oat milk.
Or if you need something a bit sweeter and aren’t the biggest fan of oat milk, then you can also choose the other popular alt milk, getting a Almondmilk Honey Frappuccino (from $8.20) for a nutty-floral mix.
