New ATV trail for kids at Kranji, adult version coming soon

by Natalie Lim

Some of us may be more than happy with the restrictions to stay at home, but when it comes to kids, it’s an entirely different situation. Imagine the best part of your childhood being confined to the small area of your room — the pent-up energy probably explains the more than usual act outs in children.

If your little one has been aching to get out of the house for some fun, head down to Mud Krank, an All-terrain vehicle (ATV) trail riding facility at Kranji. Since ATV riding is a solitary activity and distance is created between riders, your kiddo would be safe and sound.

Located on a farm in Kranji, Mud Krank is the first ATV trail riding facility in Singapore. The outdoor activity is family-friendly and the ultimate release for kids who want to satisfy their need for speed.

For safety, only children aged four to 12 years old can ride a 4X4 ATV, and there’ll be no pillions allowed. Even games have rules, so they’ll have to undergo a special mandatory training before starting their ride.

To keep your kiddos scratch-free, it is recommended for them to wear long pants with covered shoes during the ATV trail ride. Not to worry if you do not have safety gears — helmets, knee pads and elbow pads are provided at the facility.

The prices are pretty affordable too. During weekdays, each 15 minute session is priced at S$15 per person, while weekends will cost S$20 per person

While this thrilling experience is only for kids now, Mud Krank is working on getting ATVs for adults.

Bookings can be made via their website and you can choose a day or night time slot.
