Digicam Depository opens its first physical store in Haji Lane with over 100 retro-vintage digicams from just S$50

Remember when Digicam Depository held a pop-up in Chinatown to sell digital cameras? 

If you’re still feeling bummed about not being able to visit it, here is your chance to do so right now. 

Digicam Depository has officially opened a brick-and-mortar store in Haji Lane — be sure not to miss it as it is tucked away on the second level of the shophouses. 

It seems especially fitting for it to open in Haji Lane considering the area is well-known for housing many trendy thrift stores, hipster cafes, and quirky self-photo studios. 

Unlike the pop-up, there is much more space in the store for you to leisurely browse through the cameras (which is great considering the lines are already piling up). 

With more than 100 digital cameras available starting from just S$50, we’re practically spoiled for choice.

If you spot a camera that you like, feel free to snap a few pictures to test out the quality of the photos or the vibe that it gives off. You can even request for a card reader to view the photos on your phone. 

Rest assured that each camera is carefully curated to ensure the best quality and IG-worthy photos. 

Every camera comes with a 14-day warranty and includes a memory card, battery and charger. 

Price-wise, I’d say that it’s extremely value-for-money since everything that you would need is already provided for.

For those who are heading down, you can expect to find reputable brands like Olympus, Sony, Nikon Coolpix, Vivitar, Vivicam and so much more. 

These cameras come in an assortment of sizes and shapes so that it’s easier to carry around — ranging from chunky classics to sleek minis from the retro 90s to early 2000s.

Every camera has a specific look depending on the vibes that you want. 

Regardless of whether you want your photos to give off cottagecore, soft and dreamy or old-school Wong Kar Wai aesthetics, there is sure to be one that you’d like.

As the cameras sell out pretty fast, I’d highly suggest for you to head down earlier if you want first dibs and a wider selection to choose from.
