What’s the best thing about festive occasions?

If you say the music, people, or even just the atmosphere, you are correct. But there is just one more thing you are missing to truly make the party come alive. Christmas isn’t complete without a feast that leaves you warm, satisfied, and maybe just a little too full.

So, if you have been too busy to make any plans (or just procrastinating like admin), we have compiled a list of Christmas buffets that’s sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces.

1. Goodwood Park Hotel

Asian food will forever be my soul food. Goodwood Park Hotel has just hit my sweet spot with its incredible line-up of Asian-inspired delights. With their new creations, these dishes will transport you to a winter wonderland.

Sink your teeth into Baked Turkey Char Siew Snow Buns, Butter Turkey with Cranberry Cheese Naan, and more creative dishes on the menu. Who knew turkey and naan would make such a dream team?

For dessert, dive into the nutty richness of the Nutcracker Chocolate Pistachio Tart, or try out their Merry Mistle-Crunch, a zesty treat infused with pineapple and green tea that’s as festive as it sounds.

Momentus Hotel Alexandra will whisk you away on a ride through the ocean with an exciting seafood feast fit for Poseidon himself. Start with the Seafood Sharing Platter where there are standouts like boston lobster and baby abalone. Surprisingly enough, this is paired with mantou! You can also indulge in Snow Crab Legs at the Seafood on Ice station

But if you’re a meat lover like me, the Live Action Kitchen is definitely more my vibe. The Christmas Roasts takes centre stage with highlights including the Tajima Wagyu Rump Cap MBS 6, Meat Loaf Wellington with Pistachio & Chestnut Stuffing, and Honey Grain Mustard Glazed Bone-in Gammon Ham.

For a festive twist, the live taco station lets you customise tacos with flavours like 22 Hours Smoked Wagyu Beef Brisket, BBQ Pulled Pork Shoulder, and Old Bay Marinated Barramundi. As an Asian, tacos for Christmas sounds like an unlikely combination but I will be keeping an eye out for this.
