We had a delightful experience at PasarBella Suntec trying many dishes from the traders. Here’s our take on the PasarBella experience and some of our recommendations for you to try.

1. Rollie Olie

Let the good times roll with Rollie Olie. Their Signature Rolls and Poke bowls are layered with carefully matched fillings and toppings, offering a perfect marriage between Japanese and American cuisine. Their menu has a total of 9 Signature Rolls and 8 Poke Bowls to choose from.

For their signature rolls, we had a go at the Dos Amigos ($14.90) and the Sunkissed Salmon ($16.90). The Dos Amigos consists of grilled Unagi (eel), cream cheese, avocado, jicama, fish roe, cucumber, and tamago, topped with some tempura crunch and chives. Definitely a delectable choice if you are a fan of Unagi!

The Sunkissed Salmon sushi roll is lined with seared salmon, filled with crab meat, avocado, jicama and cucumber, and topped with fish roe, chives, wasabi, and mentaiko mayo. With slightly more conventional sushi ingredients, you can’t go wrong with this.

Go wild with Rollie Olie’s Wild About Wasabi Poke Bowl. This delightful bowl was a real treat, consisting of salmon and tuna, mesclun, avocado, cucumber, tamago, radish, fish roe & wasabi sauce. This combination of fresh ingredients is perfect if you are currently on a low carbs diet… or at least attempting it.

Rollie Olie’s Egg Cups also go really well as a side dish. You can choose from Unagi, Salmon, or Truffle Egg Cups, whichever suits your liking. The texture of the egg is perfect and the torched Unagi/Salmon goes extremely well with these egg cups.

Looks good? Here’s something extra for you guys…

We have a GoodLobang Exclusive promotion where you can get 1-for-1 egg cups when you purchase any sushi roll or poke bowl. Head down to PasarBella to give this a go but do make sure you’re still able to roll back home afterwards.

2. Wolf Burgers

Watch the pack’s back, Wolf Burgers definitely has your back. As their name suggests, they specialise in serving delicious burgers that will make you want to devour them.

Wolf Burger’s Dry-Aged Beef Burger ($17.90) is one to die for. The patty is dry-aged for 30 days and accompanied with pickled onions, cheese, and homemade chipotle mayo. A truly blissful combination and highly recommended by us.

Add another $3 to make it a set for maximum satisfaction.

For a more local twist, have a go at the Salted Egg Fried Chicken Burger ($9.90/$12.90). The chicken patty is extremely tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Paired with salted egg sauce, this burger will definitely give your taste buds a treat.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try their Wasabi Fried Fish Burger ($10.90/$13.90) which really packs a punch. This burger features a tempura-battered fish fillet with wasabi mayo. If wasabi is your thing, this is definitely a must try!

For our vegan friends, try their Miso Tofu Veggie Burger ($9.90/$12.90). This burger consists pressed tofu marinated in miso mirin sauce and served with a generous portion of sliced avocado, cabbage and fresh veggies which makes it both savoury and sweet in one bite.

GoodLobang is offering an exclusive promotion for our subscribers – get a burger and fries for only $11. Here’s a tip from the team, give their sweet potato fries a try!

Dive into a sea of delights at Cajun on Wheels. This Louisiana-style seafood cuisine has plenty of options for you to choose from. Get extra saucy with choices such as Singapore Chilli Crab, Salted Egg Curry & Cajun Cheese. The sauces are carefully prepared using piquant and sapid ingredients and you can choose the ones that pique your interest the most.

Our catch from Cajun on Wheels was their delicious Mixed Seafood Platter ($16). We had a wholesome serving of mussels and prawns, together with aglio olio, a sunny side-up and corn. Not forgetting the amazing Giant Squid Platter, yum yum. The squid was tender and paired with salted egg sauce; a palatable combination.

If you are going as a big group, have a go at their Mega Volcano Seafood Bucket ($299) which serves up to 8 people. Filled with some of the freshest seafood ranging from crayfish, white clams, mussels, Boston lobster, you’ll definitely be in for a treat!

4. Wan Niu Wan

Wan Niu Wan specialises in serving amazing donburis. All their rice bowls come with a set – a salad and miso soup.

Their signature dish is the Wagyu Rice Bowl ($25), which is packed with perfectly cooked beef set on exquisite Japanese rice and finished with a soy mirin glaze. The premium wagyu beef was carefully grilled to a perfect medium-rare and seasoned with a delightful hint of truffle oil.

The Miso Cod Rice Bowl ($15.50) is baked with miso paste for 6 minutes and torched. The miso cod is an extremely appetising dish served with shimeji mushrooms and onions.
